Tomorrow I will go to the chemist and pick up some prescriptions, then buy a new kettle. I have a gift voucher which will take the edge off.
We sat down to watch a christmas film today and i nodded off! Id been awake since 5am due to the coughing.
gosh i cant wait for this to be over so i can start feeling better and getting fit again. Got such a busy Christmas period too.

I shaved off my attempted beard today to feel a bit better

slowly getting through this. Another sweaty night so the bedding is in the wash.
Last night she cooked 'marry me chicken' which was lovely.
Im going to venture out to empty the bins soon and get some fresh air..

hiya. Oh the gig was great, only 30 mins, and the band before them were called 'Hideous Dress' were great, and a Nirvana fan band. Lead singer wore a ....hideous dress lol.

all the good work getting my speed back has now gone to pot. Despite having the jabs I've been hit by the flu virus that has wiped me out completely. I will go back to work next year now.

raining today so of course a gentle 5.16 miles after yesterdays 5k blast around Battersea in 21.16. Not my fastest but getting there slowly. Off to see my eldest play at a gig in Camden tonight

damage to tendons. very painful.

went to Richmond Park for 4 hours today and walked in the sunshine and the peace and quiet. Saw deer, had coffee and a very expensive sausage roll, and came home. It was lovely.

first session on shoulder today, still very painful.

Finsbury Park. 4th time this year. the hill - unforgiving. The legs - working. The temperature - 5c in a t-shirt. The time - 21.34, finishing 4th. The lindor balls - devoured :-)))

Ran Regents Park today - 5th time this year. I didnt need to get up at 4.50am. I didnt NEED to travel 50 mins and run in the cold and wet. BUT...when you are a runner its what runners do! 21.29 with 3 injuries. Finally physio starts on my shoulder next week :-)

hey you, don't beat yourself up. A WALK is still exercise, you are still doing more than the couch potatoes are doing, and it all counts. I have 2 weeks off signed signed by doc as my shoulder is killing me atm. At least one of the 2 physios i see tomorrow may be able to help. Keep on walking and making pies! Yummy
