well ive been out for 6 miles, 3 good hills, and fed the cats who were purring in delight when i arrived with chicken Dreamies :-)

gosh Battersea was rammed - so many runners and so hot. I'm going to do an add up. I was 17th / 125 in 20.46 and with less runners that was definitely much quicker. I was zig-zagging round people. But my lovely mate Malcolm tuned up and that was lovely

No need to apologise, I was sitting on a ban! Some ****** reported me for saying "I appreciate a Thank You when spotting in my garden" and my account was suspended. Apparently that was:
Trying to stop someone watering in my garden
Leaving an unkind/unfriendly message
Intending to influence how others play
I was (still am) absolutely furious so sat it out yesterday because I refused to sign their "I promise to be a good girl" bullshit. Had no choice if I wanted to get my garden back so here we are. Still so mad.

tomorrow is Battersea 5k. I was fast there in April so will go for it tomorrow. A late start at 11.11am so plenty of sleep and time to wake up. I have done the weeklend shop so all good. Can relax a bit tomorrow.

the thing about doing a bbq on a sunday and drinking prosecco, then pimms, then wine during the afternoon, is that i passed out last night (nytol induced) and slept for over 10 hours. Woke up too late to run, so did a big shop and planted up our little balcony and ditched the rubbish, then sat in the hot sun (34C) and read a book for a couple of hours.

2 more days of this heat then it drops below 30...

Morning Maria. I jogged round to the cats with dreamies. 5 of them appeared, cue lots of purring and happy moggies. A few early runners out there before the temperature passes 30C today!  Hope it warms up for you soon.

Regents Park - I don't know, maybe 28c- 5k in 20.42 and  20/303. So hot they were giving away water at Waterloo station.

tomorrow - local early slow jog via the cats and then BBQ at mother in laws. I am the meat king! Looking forward to a feast :-)

heatwave over here now, 28 - 33C over the next few days. will run Regents tomorrow then go home and rest!
