That is so annoying!  I have to have everything just the way I want it or I either run out and get a new one, or order online thru Best Buy. 

I never liked the keyboards on a laptop and always plugged in an external keyboard. 😊

we are still on a catastrophic fire warning run of days and yesterday grassfires burnt a wide swath of countryside about 15km from us (several of my Oldies live where it burnt, one of them lost his house completely) everybody is safe but fire is still madly burning.....  the countryside is so dry and the temperature was just so hot.  today is cooler but still windy so not helping much with fire fighting...  hopefully they will get it under control.

I know people do use bubblewrap on their windows.  clever!  yesterday was only just 30 degrees and I actually had an easy day at work, first person I was just showering and doing breakfast for, then we sat in the sun until I finished at 10am (it was about 27 degrees when I left him) my second person I spent the first hour and half watering her garden, I wore my hat and had sunscreen on, and splashed myself every now and then with the hose.  wasn't too bad.  my last person was a shower and then she sent me home because all she wanted to do was have a snooze.  poor Oldies don't like heat much. 
It is hotting up over the next few days, and forecast a threesom of over 40-degree days.  we'll see.  weather forecasting is not what it used to be.  climate change has altered the regular patterns....  when I was a kid, the summer school hols were HOT, for six weeks.  now, not so much.  But, wish I could send you some warmth (and you, me, snow...(and a squirrel or too)). have a good day.  weekend here now, working for a couple of hours on Sunday but today is my own.

yep, Christmas in July is a thing, still not really snow (except around Mt Kosciuszko (in our Snowy Mountains range) Just cold weather.  Where we live gets maybe a few frosts overnight and occasional below 0 nights, but days are usually at least 5 degrees (Celcius).
