Resplendent hues appease my vision,
Fall has fulfilled its yearly mission,
Sporadic breezes blow leaves around,
Forming multi-colored patterns upon the ground.
Sparrows utter subtle sounds,
As frantic squirrels make their rounds,
Brisk weather chases summer's bugs,
Emerald lawns become saffron rugs.
Children pile all the leaves they can muster,
Indian summer provides added luster,
Autumn is a season full of esteem,
It is a time of nature's brightest gleam.

It is now into November;
It is time to remember;
The ones at war;
And the ones that fought before;
You say what's the fuss;
They gave their life for us;
If it weren't for them we wouldn't be;
Able to go about so safe and free;
All that's asked of us instead;
Is to remember them and wear a poppy red;
At 11 ,11 a silent prayer;
Thanking them that they were there;
God bless each and every one;
That fight today and those that are gone.

A blanket of darkness covers the sky;
The bird know that they must fly;
Back to their homes safe and sound;
In the trees up off the ground;
In the morning they'll again be out;
Looking for food with out a doubt;

Flowers are red for the blood that was shed;
Our lives saved by the vets that were brave;

The leaves are falling fast now:
The rain is falling too:
So we made a little vow;
To stop by and visit you.
Before we leave this site;
We wish you a very good night

A smile is cheer from you to me,
the cost is nothing its given for free.
They console the weary and gladden the sad.
And can make someone happy when they are mad.
Unlike blessings in which we pray
its the only thing you keep when you give it away.
Keep smiling. It keeps people guessing
