I'm having a chillaxin day after my family flew in for a few days..was nice to catchup with my bro and 2 nephews..and the weather cooled down..phew..we enjoyed woodland walks, picnic, charity shops and a visit to a nearby seaside town..more charity shops ( they likey ! )  and fish n chips..of course. So they've enjoyed a few days away. Tidy up time..maybe tomo!
Sorry to hear about your problem with the heart moniter. Didn't the consultant..dr..warn you about it moving? Doesn't sound v.nice for you..and probably causing you more anxiety. Hope they sort it out for you lovely🤗🌺  xox coool huggles

Hiya lovely, awww honestly, reading all of that, I don’t even know where to begin. You really have been through absolute hell over the years, and the fact you still manage to keep your humour and warmth through all of it honestly says so much about your strength as a person.
And the more you explained, the more my heart sank for you. Rheumatoid Arthritis alone is cruel enough, but then everything else on top of it  the osteoporosis, the spinal problems, years in a wheelchair,  chronic pain, the infections etc, just awful hun, gawd how scary to know you had a pulmonary emboli for months to, and now the heart condition too, it's a lot for you to carry and a lot for you to have to deal, I am thankful that you have family around you that cares, it can make all the difference can't it.

Also to have repeatedly had moments where people didn’t listen properly, when you knew something was seriously wrong, must have been so frightening not to mention frustrating.
Pain and long term illness really do affect every part of life, not just physically but mentally too. People often only see the moments where someone is still smiling or joking and don’t realise the sheer exhaustion and strength it takes just to get through normal days. I have osteoarthritis myself affecting my back and hips, and I’m also on very strong medication because of it, so whilst I would never compare what I deal with to everything you’ve endured, I do understand how relentless chronic pain can become and how much it wears you down over time. I’m waiting on hip replacements myself now, and there are concerns about operating on my spine because of where the damage is, so I completely understand that fear too of gradually losing mobility and independence. It’s very frightening and heartbreaking all at once.

And despite everything, there you still are worrying about melted Ben & Jerry’s and laughing  That genuinely says a lot about you as a person bless you.
What a lovely story about Pat Jennings. The kindness people show during the darkest moments of our lives never leaves us, does it? Steven I should imagine must have been very touched, and the fact Pat remembered afterwards with flowers, quietly and without fanfare, says everything about the sort of people they are. That kind of kindness matters more than people realise.
Please do take it easy though lovely, even if your family are practically enforcing it at this point. And I really hope they sort out that monitor quickly because being stabbed by your own implant every time you move sounds bloody awful.
