Good morning Andy - congrats on that great time for your half!  You should feel very proud!!  I have an appt with my nutritionist/health coach today - I've lost the weight and the body fat is in a very healthy zone, but this new goal of trying to gain 3 lbs of muscle has been very challenging.  Fingers crossed I made some progress.

Good luck on your half Marathon - I know you will crush it!  Let me know how it goes.   Tomorrow is a running day for me - looking forward to it. 

Excellent!  Congrats!  Too bad it was a "chilly" run - but nicer weather is coming!  Hoping your Monday goes smoothly!  Yes - late Easter this year but I do like it when the weather is a little nicer.   I'm working both days this weekend - but not so bad.  At least tomorrow I get to start my day with a nice run - it will be fun!

That's great!!  It sounds like you will be back at it with no issues.   Tomorrow is running day for me.  Only 2 days left in this program, so these last few days are not as "intense" because supposedly we are working up to a 5k race at the end of the trainining - but my race isn't until the end of May so I'm starting the whole thing over next week.  It's an awesome training program and I've gotten SO much stronger doing it.  Really hoping to get a respectable time in for my race.

I guess at this point all you can do is try....but be sure to be honest with yourself about how it feels - if it doesn't feel right....stop.  Better to have to wait an extra day or two instead of re-injuring and having to wait a few more weeks or months.    Don't do your normal distance the first time out and try to stay away from an incline. 

Hi Andy - that's great!  Just remember to take it slow......build it back up again a little at a time.   Fingers crossed it just keeps getting better!

Hi Andy - I am so sorry for your injury.  It is so frustrating having to take time off from something you love, and then you feel like you lose a little and have to build again.  Hoping it heals quickly and you are back at it stronger than ever.   I'm still running every other day for about 45 minutes and I'm loving it.  I am signed up for a 5k the end of May - hoping to make a "respectable" run for my age group.   Hang in there!
