Oh no - that is so painful.  But the GOOD news is, once she gets it taken care of (if they do the surgery), she will feel SO much better!  Which test did they do?  The tube down the throat?    How did you make out with your shoulder?

Hi - your weather has finally arrived here - it's a gorgeous day!   Hoping it's nothing serious for your wife and things go well.  And good luck at your appt, too.  I've had both rotator cuffs repaired with great outcomes - but hoping you can get away with no surgery.  Our original parts, if we can keep them, hold up best!  lol 

Before you know it, you'll be ready for a triathlon or an Iron Man competition!  Excellent!  And new things are always great for the spirit!  Once I know I can run again, I'll be picking out some new running shoes.  Well I'm off to the dreaded elliptical.  Hoping to get another 45 minutes - we'll see how it goes.   

Very sunny here too.   My back garden is a lovely sun-trap.

You definitely put a lot of miles on in a week!  I have something to aspire to - not sure I want to do a lot of high miles any more - but if I could do 5 miles 2 days/week, I think that might be good!  I have a goal!  lol  I hope you had a great Easter. 

Woo hooooo!!  Congrats!!  That is one for the record books.  I hope you treated yourself to a nice cold beer after that run.  I would love to run a mile right now!  lol  Do you have more races next weekend??

Hi Andy- hoping you had a great run as normal!!   And YES - baking with my granddaughter is the best!  When her sister was younger, they would both come and we would all bake together - the older one was a little lazier, but the younger one always wanted to take part in everything!   Usually every time she comes we have to make pumpkin bread - but this time we did homemade apple pie, and a new recipe that was delicious - blueberry cream cheese pie.  And we did sauce and meatballs with pasta for dinner.  She loves it.    Had my appt today - the doctor really doesn't feel like any thing is seriously damaged - thinks it's soft tissue damage that is taking time to heal.  (He actually remarked that I was in great shape!  lol  I said it sure doesn't feel like it!)  He is sending me to physical therapy - 2 -3 times/week for 4-6 weeks.  He thinks it will really help.  In the meantime I am lucky to have the dreaded elliptical - it really does make a difference.....even though I hate it!

Hi - that hike sounds pretty brutal!  Hopefully your lets are well rested for your weekend running activities!  I have been using an infrared heating pad on my hamstring for a few months - it feels great but  not sure that it's doing anything.   I have an appointment tomorrow with the ortho doc!  Will keep you posted on that - I'm sure they won't see anything on x-ray so will have to try and approval for MRI scans.    I had my granddaughter for the past 2 days - it was so much fun.   We did some baking, cooking, shopping, and even did a workout together.  I love those kinds of days.   Good luck on Saturday - and let me know how it goes.
