Good morning, Michelle!  Randy and I were ready to get up shortly before 6.  He had some chicken & rice along with his regular food.  He's actually been pretty good the past 2 days.  The chicken and rice seems to settle his digestive system.  Early evening I went out to cut off some cactus pads on the two largest plants, and twist off some prickly pear pads that needed a pruning.  I was so itchy and stickery afterwards but it needed done.  Most of the coated gloves I wear are full of stickers, so need to get new ones asap.  If you just brush up against a prickly pear, they stick to your skin.  It's awful.  I use tongs on the pricklies, and an old knife on the big cactus plants.  Awful job.  Next time, the large ones might be getting a "flat top".  ;)  Take care & enjoy your Wednesday!  xxx
