Really, I'm ok. We'll see this through.  Back to original plan of keeping the heavy stuff for mid January.  Of course, with me you never know. Mike and I talked this afternoon. ...Andy's girlfriend visa was denied, so that big holiday plan is not going to happen and he no longer needs to borrow money from his Dad. I also told Mike he should go to Florida for the holidays if he wants, he said he appreciated my sentiment but he's staying home.
Lol...never a dull moment! I made the chutney today, so I've a head start on tomorrow!  Thank you again,  Bestie for being such a wonderful friend. Love, hugs and kisses ❤❤❤

Friday sprinkles for our Sweeties!
Awakened early by Ronnie calling to ask me to move my car so he could get back to his blind. I forgot it's opening day of firearm deer season. When my brother was alive, this was a long awaited, important day!  So, I went back to bed til noon. It's gloomy and I certainly have food for supper,  so I am Staying home and will shop tomorrow.  If the in-laws do stop, I can meet them at the door in my nightgown and tell them my plans were cancelled, as I'm ill. I think my Sunday menu is going to be Chili and cornbread.  Have got a hankering for that.

Sunday sprinkles for our Sweeties!
No rain yet, looks like much of it blew south of here, still may get some this evening. Wow, Bestie, that's quite a menu you're cooking up! So Ed is back to being away for the work week?  My menu for tonight is pork chops baked on a bed of sauerkraut,  acorn squash, parsley potatoes , applesauce and a salad. You're right, I am creaky today, but having that done is worth it. Still need to bring in my solar lights, but usually wait til the snow flies for that. I like to look out and see the sparkles at night!  No sign of Miss Kitty,  last night but Paulette was chowing down. I think I'll make her Raman noodles tonight with Apple cores. Yum! Hope you can rest a minute between all your cooking and going out to Kathy's.  Sending lots of love, hugs and kisses

Cold, but sunny here. I'll be leaving shortly to go get my chores done in town, so I'll be home when Amanda calls. Kind of dreading the conversation due to lack of progress with the James situation, but it's her life and her decisions. Arrrrgh! Hope you're feeling chipper today and can tackle your housework. Yes, I'm very pleased with how last night went and also about Thanksgiving. I think I may do something very non-traditional like a pork loin with drsg, butternut squash or sweet potato and a Dutch apple pie . I'm going to keep an eye out for Miss Kitty tonight...I sure get a kick out of my diner customers!  Best get my butt in gear. Sending my Bestie love, hugs and kisses ❤❤❤

Hi my dear Susan, how are things with you my lovely friend? I've had lots of tests regarding my Crohns & have some active disease - inflammation, ulcers & adhesions so the consultant wants to start me on a biological treatment but I've had to have lots of blood tests & a chest xray first, to make sure I can have it. I'll have to inject myself every 2 weeks which I'm really not looking forward to 😥 So tired all of the time which is really getting me down.
Anyway, how are you? Are you well? What's been going on in your life? How is that gorgeous little sassy lady? Give her a cuddle from me.

Glad you're going to have a quiet, restful day. Just you and Sis, taking it easy. It is a record breaking warm day, in the 70's, but cool and rainy tomorrow and the weekend in the 40-50 range! I'm making bbq ribs, baked potato and salad for supper tomorrow.  Kathy should be here around 7pm.
She's taking me out for supper on Friday  (belated birthday meal) maybe we'll go out Dutch treat on Saturday. I hope there's something good on at the show, so we can sneak in a movie. M offered to help with the plumbing bill, but I told him no, I can manage, but may need help with groceries or gas by end of November.  He's already paying all of John's bills and I don't want  to feel beholden to him. I'm pretty good at budgeting economical meals...was raised by Depression babies! I hope you'll feel better soon. How is Ed feeling? Sending prayers, love, hugs and kisses to my Bestie ❤❤❤
