Hope that pain stays gone! Sunny, but chilly today. No date night tonight since Mike has a full day of substitute teaching tomorrow and must get up around 5.30am.  I will go pick up Sushi around noon and bring her back here and M will join us when he's done. Although,  he's not pleased  with his hourly wage. It was never discussed and he had made out forms for it to be automatically deposited in his bank account. Yesterday,.he got a bank statement and found out he's making $16/hr ! So, I know he's committed to working tomorrow,  but not sure he'll do it again. So, I'll have left over spaghetti tonight. Tomorrow I'm thinking salmon patties, sautéed summer squash,.rice and Asian slaw. Fruit salad for dessert.  It's so sunny and pleasant,  it's hard to believe that a rainy weekend is in the forecast.  Take it easy today, Bestie.  Sending love, hugs and kisses ♥️♥️♥️

Hello Susan. Penny is upset about the new addition but she is playing with her…kind of. They are chasing each other around and Penny is taking all the toys away from Piper 🤦🏻‍♀️. She didn’t sleep well through the night. She was up crying on and off. Penny was crate trained and did well from day one but Piper was in a pen with her 6 sisters and her Mom so I think that’s the problem. She is soooo tiny. Only 2 pounds. I can't believe I didn't send a good night message! Actually, I CAN believe it....very distracted with my thoughts. Concerned about the boiler situation, even though Mike said he'd take care of the cost. I appreciate that, but it pains me to burden him with more financial strain. I think last weekend was a bit much on my stress level too. Being thrown into his family drama with 2 feuding sisters I've never met and being on the entertainment committee without warning. Not in the best frame of mind at the moment, but keeping busy with chores and trying hard not to overthink. Your dinners sound delicious!  I am going to make chicken pot pie for supper tonight. I have the leftover pork roast in the crockpot,  will cook till it falls apart, add cumin, garlic and cilantro,  with pepper & onions and use it in burritos for tomorrow's dinner. Wednesday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!  Yes, it was nice to wake up.in my own bed and a quiet house! I know all of that "sister drama" was a bit much for Mike.
Also being responsible for entertaining Trudy for 4 days weighed heavy on him. He thanked me yesterday for assisting him with that. Honestly Susie, I don't quite know what to make of that bunch. I keep reminding myself of my initial impressions of Bill's family and how it changed over time. Thus sounds terrible, but I fear there may be a genetic factor involved there with Mike's kids and siblings  leaning towards depression. Well. I was in the bathroom when the gal that schedules the boiler boys, called.
Miss the call by 10 minutes, called her back and the guy was already off on another call! Arrrrgh! She said he may be able to come this afternoon. But nothing definite.
I hate to be hanging waiting on a call!.i.jeed to go grocery shopping at some point. I'm anxious to hear back from Mike about Damon and what's happening on that front, but also am thinking he's probably enjoying some peace after 5 days of high drama. Night Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Finally, home in my own bed. Wow. What a whirlwind few days I've had. Today was the craziest yet. Jenni and her daughter,, Hannah came over to Mike's with doughnuts as a peace offering and to make amends with Trudy before she left. Very emotional morning.
The sister's made up and we really had a fun time sitting around the kitchen table talking and laughing.
Jenni really is kind of a mess right now, but I think we'll get along. Then before we left to take Trudy to the airport,  Mike got a text from Damon's mother saying he's had some kind of panic attack and was in the ER downstate. She was going down to pick him up, but he's going to miss this semester of school. Then the 2 hour trip to Traverse City. Terrible traffic. Saw Trudy off, stopped back at that Indian restaurant on our way home. I stayed at Mike's for a half hour and then headed home. So I didn't have to drive in the dark. Fell asleep on the couch. Woke up. Watched TV til 1am and now I'm up in my own bed! I still need to think about the past few days and digest it all. Good afternoon Susan. Our new puppy is the same breed as Penny, both Havanese and both from the same breeder who is a friend of mine. We have picked the name Piper. We have been talking about getting a new puppy for a while now and I had my heart set on naming her Eleanor Rigby. Penny‘s name is Penny Lane named after the Beatles song Penny Lane and I am also named after the Beatles song Michelle. I thought it would be fitting for us three girls to all be named after  Beatles songs. However, Larry was not keen on that name and he liked Piper so Piper it is. We will be picking her up next Tuesday and she will be nine weeks. I think I have everything that I need for her. We went shopping last night to get her food and I ordered a few puppy chews on Amazon. I didn’t really need much because I had everything from Penny. The main thing that I needed was to get puppy food. I am sticking with the same brand that Penny eats only the puppy version. We are taking the kids to see the Gabby’s dollhouse movie tonight. Layne is excited about it because we always go see movies that Liam wants to see. We gave Liam the choice if he wanted to go or not and he chose to go. It has been raining on and o

Good morning, Susan. Larry and I are adding a new fur baby to our family.
She will be coming home on the 14th of this month. She is all black with white tips on her feet and a white patch on her chest. She's very small and just the cutest. We are hoping that this will help with Penny being so possessive of me...give her a job to do, being a big sister

a bit nervous because Penny was such a good puppy. She was crate trained and was fine sleeping all night right from the start. She potty trained easily also. I've been told that she will take the lead and the puppy will follow. Larry is working today. The whole electric department is in fixing the issue from last Sunday. Larry has to do some things at the sub station with meters and then he is going to flag traffic because they couldn’t get anyone from the highway department to do it. I hope you have a great weekend. Friday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Another nice day and tomorrow we may reach 80! Going to the beach fir sure. This weather isn't going to last long and I've git to get an appointment with the boiler people to come check mine out. It  was emitting a harsh odor last spring, I think it may need a flushing out, so best get that tended to. I will look at collars for our girl  for her birthday,  I know Ziggy wants his girl to be honored on her special day. Hope you get your happy time today. I'm just leaving any additional planning for togetherness alone....and I'll enjoy my Friday and Saturday,  Me time.
