Night Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Power is still on, though after listening to the weather report at 11pm, it sure wasn't reassuring. Lots of outages and more ice coming overnight. Really, it doesn't clear up til Monday afternoon. Mike didn't go walking...he said he almost fell in his driveway. Still insisting that he can make it here tomorrow. Would love to see him, but don't want him to risk an accident. I have not asked about Holly & he didn't mention her. I know she needed the $$$ by April, so something must've transpired.
Planning on burgers, baked beans & a salad tomorrow,  something simple that's easy if he can't come over, not a big deal. Your dinner sounds great...yum! Hope to sleep well tonight...ha ha. Meet you & our pups in Dreamland soon. Bringing my Bestie lots of love,  hugs and kisses ♥️♥️♥️

Hello Susan. I’m sorry you need to wait until Monday to get Sadye’s test results. That is always a downside of having things done on a Friday. Our vet and staff is also good with all of their patients. They treat them like family. My daughter’s dog had pancreatitis a few years ago and the staff was so caring. They called my daughter with regular updates. Max stayed for a short time to be monitored. He recovered fully but it was very scary not knowing if he would be ok. She had to feed him a special food for quite awhile. We had a busy day of running errands do I’m on very late returning sprinkles. Penny and I just finished saying our prayers and Sayde was at the top of our list. Try to get some rest. I would tell you to try and not worry but that would be unrealistic  💜

Hello Susan. How did things go with Sadye at the vet today?  Were you able to get any answers? I’ve been praying for her…and of course you as well. I hope you were able to keep your mind busy shopping with your sister. Thinking of you and hoping you didn’t have any vertigo spells today💜

Hi Susan. I’ve been feeling pretty good so I’m happy about that. I’m still trying to drink more and since I’ve been more conscious of it I’ve been feeling better. How about you? How is Sadye doing?

Hello dear Susan, how are you doing? Are you well? And how is that sweet little girl? Is she taking her liver supplements any easier now? Hugo doesn't like taking medication but he has to take an Apoquel tablet every day. It's not so bad as it's beef flavour so he'll usually take it when I offer it him, but sometimes he'll spit it out if he thinks I'm not looking ha! How about her food - has she gotten used to that so you don't have to hand feed her? We used to try everything with our past dogs if they didn't eat, but I always remember the vet saying that if they're hungy, they'll eventually eat it, and he was right, so I don't worry too much now. How is she in herself?
We've had some glorious weather these last few days, I just hope it continues into the weekend so I can get out in the garden. Do you have any plans? How is your sister & little Molly? I meant to ask last time I msgd. How are you doing Susan? You've had alot of worry lately with little Miss, I hope you're ok. I have missed chatting with you, I don't seem to have much time, it's so frustrating. I have constant fatigue with the Crohns, so feel in a permanent state of exhaustion. I play badminton once a week with 3

Wednesday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!  Don't think I'm going shopping today. Only because the drive is very snowy/sloppy where I have to park to unload groceries. By tomorrow,  it might just be mud.
Nice and sunny, so there should be lots of melting & tomorrow is supposed to be the same. I'm not surprised you didn't sleep well, you have a lot of information to digest.
Did you check out any of the Facebook support groups? I'll be glad that by Friday afternoon you'll have some answers and a plan of action. The only thing I managed to say to Mike last night.about the "situation", is that maybe he should announce that they've driven him to the brink of nervous exhaustion and he's cutting off communication for a few months.
Looked like he was considering it, anyway. I'm pretty frustrated, seems like there's always something....
I'm thinking of taking the yeast roll recipe and baking a loaf of bread with it. I'll let you know if I do.

Good morning Susan. It does sound like Sadye and Penny are a lot alike. Penny is only 11 pounds but she has a big personality. We got her just before my Mom started with Dementia. It went downhill very quickly and she’s been there for/with me through it all. She has been and still is my biggest supporter. I am home with her all day so from the start I’ve been her person. I tell Larry all the time that she has an unhealthy obsession with me. If I leave the house when Larry is home she sits in her bed that’s by the door and waits for me to return. She refuses to sit with Larry unless I’m in the room. If she’s sitting next to me on the couch and I get up and walk out of the room she also will get up and follow me. I suppose that it’s normal behavior seeing that I’m her main caregiver…anyway, I love her to pieces and don’t even want to think about what I would do without her. I hope you have been feeling good. I felt a bit dizzy this morning when I was getting in the shower so I took a meclizine. It’s the first time I’ve taken one. I am pleasantly surprised that the dizziness went away. There is always hope. Have a happy Tuesday 💜

I was a bit concerned that I had overstepped with Mike,  concerning the Holly situation, but he seemed back to his old self when we spoke. I didn't bring it up or ask if he had spoken to her yet. My gut tells me probably not. Never had to deal with step "children" in a relationship before!
Poor Molly, sounds like she had quite the workout. Will be waiting to hear from you about Sis & her blood work results. Continued prayers. Another snowy day on Tuesday,  so I'm thinking Wednesday is my go to town day.

The last of your message got cut off, but I could see you were winding up. I messaged you about the propane. So thar was a pleasant surprise and nice to.not have to worry. I can't believe the snow we've gotten and more on the way. Haven't heard from Mike yet. So I'm assuming he went. If so, he should be back home by noon. I'll call if I haven't heard from him by 1pm. The more I think of the situation with Holly. The madder I get! Really trying hard to hold my tongue. Last night I slipped and called her a childish, spoiled brat.Then Mike started making excuses for her. It sure is weighing heavy on his mind. Ugh.
Well. I don't know if congrats are in order for the great-grandson. Like you said, "just another day". Doubt you & Ed will ever see him. Really. It's nice of you to send a card, after the way you were treated at Monica's wedding. Mike just messaged. He's home. Said the roads are terrible. I hope he takes a nap! You gals enjoy the outing.
