No.snow here this morning. I think it was 36° when I got up. Definitely cold. Will tackle the contacts for help with repairs.today. there are quite a few available,  both federal and state. The applications that I looked at online rival tax forms for level of complexity!  I'd really like to discuss with Kathy the possibility of selling, but I don't want to hit her with that when she's going through Lita being so sick. Honestly. Susie I'm a nervous wreck. The past 6 months have about done me in. I knowni have to make some big decisions  and my head and heart just can't deal with it. I feel.so alone. Okay, I'll stop the pity party...just needed to vent.

I guess I'm going to have to watch the news at noon to get an idea of your weather (and mine) both of my radar weather sites load, but then the screen goes blank. I think we're supposed to have a rainy night. Sunny, breezy and 55 at the moment. Glad there were no bat sightings last night...that was probably a lone, rogue, bat. Glad you don't have to go out tonight. Still praying for your safety. No, I most definitely won't finish the Billy goats....I need more seeds...both fairytale & mushroom. At least I know what I'm doing ( I think...lol) where the last time I tried I was totally confused. Lots of people currently doing Fairytales. Trying to decide what to do next. We'll see how the May lottery looks. I'm waiting for the written denial to come, so I can study it and then go to those babes at the insurance place and have them write a new policy. Will start bugging contractors again...though there is no shortage of work with all of the flood damage up here. I'll check in with you throughout the day to make sure you're OK. Good morning Susan. I’m glad to hear Sadye is doing better and had fun at the Farm. I hope Molly is still doing well also. It’s going to be a beautiful sunny day today. We are going to have rain and cooler temperatures starting tomorrow through mid May… ugh. I have an early morning appointment so I have to get myself ready. Next weekend was the only one that Amanda could make, as it's the end of the school year, so there's proms, one graduation and parties, etc... What threw a wrench into next weekend's visit, was the middle girl entered a talent show at school and didn't tell her mom til yesterday. That's scheduled for
Friday night. Our weather is calling for unseasonably cold beginning of May, we'll into the 1st 2 weeks.
I keep reminding myself that this isn't the end of the world and it will get fixed, but it hits hard after the extremely difficult winter and feeling so alone. Kathy is so blessed to have Ed to come over and help out. I'm sure it eases her worries.  And you are a constant help to her! Sister of the year award for many, many years! Well, I'm going to take a hot shower and face the day! Keeping the door closed on the laundry room for now! Hope you and Ed have a good day. What's on the menu other than cupcakes? Thank you again for my lovely portrait of my pup & me. Absolutely love & cherish it. Thank Sis for her sweet kisses. Got.through the day and it wasn't easy. Amanda can't come next weekend and my insurance claim was denied. I need to recover from that! Wow. Guess I'll be trying to pick up those rocks by myself. Totally disgusted.  They jacked up my premiums over a year ago, almost doubling them. Been with them for 30 years. Can't think about it too much...I'm still reeling.
Oh well, it's one room I barely use and there's people in Oklahoma who's houses were completely demolished.  I'll get through this.

Friday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
I see we're following each other through the gardens this morning.
I'm pleased with the progress I've made with the Billy goats, but it sure does go through my reserves of Fairytales seeds & magic mushrooms. Having to start again each time the big Billy eats the buttercup....arrrgh! I don't think I have enough seeds to finish the tale. But I'll keep on as long as I can. Very windy today.with rain coming this afternoon that's supposed to last all night. No news from anyone...insurance company,  contractors. Etc...
The adjuster said it would probably be a week, when he was here on Monday.  No signs of critter activity here this morning. So that was nice.  Does Sis have stitches that dissolve or does she have to go back for removal? The little sweetheart.  Had a good cry this morning, held my Ziggy pillow and told him how much I miss him. That boy took a big piece of my heart with him. Love up on Sis and tell her "their story", I know Zig would like that. Thank you. BESTIE
for always riding the waves with me. You truly have blessed my life.

I hope you and Sis have a quiet, peaceful sleep tonight and no critters! I saw evidence in my kitchen today of critter activity...ugh. it creeps me out! I did pick up a few limbs on the yard and put out my solar lights along the walkway. Not heard a peep from anyone....I really think everyone's busy with all if the flood damage. I may just post on our local community page and ask if someone can do it. Well. Amanda will be coming in a week, so I'm looking forward to that visit. Supposed to be chilly and rainy over the weekend.  Glad Sis is adjusting to her sock routine. You're such a good mama! Sad anniversary tomorrow...just breaks my heart to remember that night.

Hello Susan… so glad to hear Sadye is doing good. I think her desire to get that mouse is a good sign. Penny is the same way…always on high alert, doesn’t matter what it is but if it grabs her attention she can be ruthless!! I Remind her that she’s only 11 pounds and a tiny baby but she doesn’t care… lol. I hope you can find a way to deter the little critters from coming around. We have a lot of them at camp. It’s to be expected seeing we are located in the middle of the woods. I don’t think I updated you on the bees. Larry went last Saturday to check on everything after winter and he found all the bees died…again. He said he’s throwing in the towel… at least for awhile anyway. There is a lot of honey in the two hives so we will be able to harvest it. He thinks they died off early because of the amount of honey in there. We had a really bad winter… lots of snow and bitter cold temperatures and wind chills so maybe they couldn’t handle it. I’m getting ready to say my prayers and I always start with Sadye 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Good morning Susan. I’ve been saying extra prayers for Sadye and was glad to see your message this morning that she did fine!!  I truly believe in the power of prayer. I hope you were able to keep her comfortable overnight and that you both got some rest. Did she have a teeth cleaning or was there an issue with one of her teeth?  Max has lost a couple of teeth recently, literally fell out of his mouth. He has a few more very loose teeth so Heather took him in on Monday because one tooth was causing him pain. He is having all of his teeth removed on May 6th. I honestly think he will be happier without them. He turned 12 in December. How is Molly doing? We have a decent day weather wise for today. It’s going to get in the mid 60’s.
