Monday Sprinkle for our Sweeties
Had a strange night's sleep. Woke up at 3am after a strange dream that had Bill, Daddy & my Mom in it. Couldn't get back to sleep so read and did visits in fairyland.  Finally fell back to sleep when daylight came and conked out til noon! It's supposed to be rainy, but it's bright and sunny though still cold. I guess I'll tackle the taxes later....I'm hoping I can find the form I need at the IRS site. Never had a problem doing them before, but this year they threw in a monkey wrench that I'm having problems with.  I usually just file with the State, but I need the federal 10-40 form for the equation to figure out the essential dollar amount to work with. Maddening! Still hoping to go do laundry tomorrow.  Toying with the idea of going to St. Ignace for that, but they've been closing the bridge off & on due to falling ice. Yikes! That would be my luck to be stranded on the other side!  Lol.

Good morning, Susan. How was your Easter? Matthew had Alina so we spent the whole day with her. Gabby, our son-in-law’s sister always invites Matthew and Alina to her Easter brunch. She has a house full with a toddler and a baby. It’s a lot of work but she does it every year. She also hosts Thanksgiving and has all of us. We all bring a dish to pass. The kids had fun finding their eggs and they enjoyed all the things in their Easter baskets. Alina loves goldfish crackers so I put a bag in her basket. That was all she cared about…lol. She is extremely limited to what she will eat so no candy for her, which isn’t a bad thing, she won’t eat it and Matthew is not much of a candy eater so I don’t bother with it for her. We are taking Liam to see The Suoer Mario Galaxy movie tomorrow when he gets out of school and Larry out of work. Sis doesn’t want to go to this one either so I told her that was ok, when she’s ready to go she can tell me. We are in winter mode again… even have some snow on the cars and roofs…34 degrees and cold…ugh. Sending love and hugs 💜

I know you're super busy in the kitchen today. Hope you can relax a bit when you go out to Kathy's.
Is Jen's bath before or after supper? What did you make for Ed to take with him for his work week? It's trying hard to snow...nothing alarming, a few flakes swirling around. I changed my menu....there was a bottle of marinara sauce in the box Kathy sent, so I took out some burger last night to thaw and it's going to be spaghetti.  Probably will revisit several times in the week ahead.
Speaking of....the outlook is not promising, rarely hitting 40° and Tuesday night,.a low if 16° !!! Wonder if it's going to be a cool summer or will we be complaining about how hot it is in a few months! Enjoy your day, Bestie!

Happy Easter Susan. We are going to our son-in-laws sister’s house for Easter brunch at 11 and then coming back to our house for dinner around 6. I’ve hidden the eggs already for the kids and we will give them their Easter baskets too. Liam and Layne came over this after to color eggs. They had fun and did a great job. Wednesday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!  You're absolutely right...I'm not going to dwell on the dire predictions. In fact, Susie they have toned it down a bit.to the weather doesn't start til mid-morning on Thursday when we may get an icy rain,.but the temp will rise to the 50's melting any ice by early afternoon,  then a round of severe thunderstorms with a small chance of tornadoes . I can roll with that. I cam also sleep well tonight knowing I won't wake up surrounded.by Munchkins in the land of Oz! Thanks  for talking me down. They've even changed the Easter snow prediction to mostly rain. It is really a lovely day today, very sunny.but only 33°. Woke up too late to go do laundry, maybe wait til Friday  fir that. Got a surprise box yesterday from niece Kathy. A company called Misfit groceries (I think) it was full of all sorts of stuff...sourdough bread, eggs, rice, flour,.a pineapple, lemons, limes, marinara sauce, a cucumber, Spring mix, tomatoes, half & half....She was worried that being snowed in, I had run out of food! What a sweetheart...just like her Daddy! So blessed to have her in my life. You didn't mention any pain, so I'm hoping you woke up pain free. Good morning, Susan. I’m so glad to hear Molly and Sadye are doing better. It sure is taking a long time for Molly’s test results. No news is good news!! It is also rainy here. It’s in the mid 40’s, damp and yucky. We have flood watches in a lot of the low line areas. Today is my son’s 37 th birthday. I can’t believe he’s 37. It seems like he was just born. I still think of him as a little boy. He has a tuff life with Alina. I’m very sad for the two of them. Being a parent of an autistic child is completely different that parenthood for children not on the spectrum. My heart breaks for the two of them. He was born at 11:52 am so I always call him at 11:52 to wish him a happy birthday. I took Liam to see Hopper’s yesterday. He enjoyed it. He came back to our house after and then we took him to dinner at Red Robin’s before bringing him home. Layne didn’t want to go because she was afraid she would be sick. I hope you have a great day. Monday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Slept like a log last night and woke up earlier than usual. It's a sunny day and supposed to  reach 45° today. But those doom and gloom weather forecasters are at it again...supposed to have all sorts of crazy weather starting at 11pm  tonight thru 8am tomorrow....of course, when it's dark. Everything from thunderstorms, tornadoes,  ice, winds and power outages. Trying not to get anxious, but I've had my share of weather related hardships,  so it's difficult not to feel on edge. Nothing special planed for today, except much needed general straightening up.
Need to go do laundry at some point in the week ahead. Friday is payday and I'm going to book myself a haircut for next week. Can't wait....this long hair is tiresome & I need my Spring shearing! Hello Susan. I haven’t been playing fairyland the last few days, only coming in to put new food out. I wanted to check on Molly and Sadye and see how they are both doing and if Kathy got the test results back. We haven’t had any snow but it’s been pretty cold the last few days. It’s 22 degrees now. The sun was shining bright all day but the temperature was bitter cold. I’m beginning to think we are stuck in winter here forever. Layne has Flu B and had a chest X-ray to make sure she doesn’t have pneumonia. She’s all clear and starting to feel much better. Her fever finally broke. I hope you and Ed have a nice weekend. Still saying prayers for Molly… and Sadye. Sadye is on my permanent list so she gets mentioned every night. Sending love and hugs to you both💜

Good morning, Susan. I’m so glad to hear that Molly is feeling better. Kathy must be somewhat relieved. I’m hoping the test results come back soon and that they are good news. How is Sadye feeling? I’m hoping the diarrhea has passed. Layne is home sick again. She came home from school on Monday and stayed home yesterday and today. They are on spring break next week. We are having a sunny day. The temperature is 50 degrees and there’s a chill in the air. We will probably take the girls for a walk again today after dinner. Piper loves to walk. Sending love and hugs 💜
