Hello Michelle, thank you for keeping Sadye in your prayers. I haven't heard from her primary vet so she may not do anything different. I wasn't sure if dachshunds were prone to liver or kidney disease and unfortunately they are. I googled it to see, because I was curious. I had never been told that or even considered it. I will do more research about that I'm sure. I agree I think smaller dogs tend to be healthier. I'm thrilled you all had a great time celebrating Larry and then Fathers Day too. Nice that weather was nice and you were able to enjoy the celebrations. I'm sure the littles were excited to be spending time with you while your daughter and son in law have dinner to celebrate their anniversary. Isn't that truth. Little ones sure can wear you down quickly. What I wouldn't do to have some of their energy. I bet they enjoyed being at camp. How are the girls? How is their new enclosure working? Hello Michelle, Sadye went for her blood work. Have some good news and some concerning news. Her liver numbers have improved, Dr was pleased with that. Her kidney number have increased. He said there isn't much they can do for kidney disease except the diet prescription food, she is already on, so they will retest in 6 months to recheck. Her primary Dr was not there, so not sure if she will intervene and have different plans. So I was grateful for the good news but just concerns me about the kidneys and not many options for treatment. Thank you for the extra prayers. Thank you for the extra prayers for Sadye and her upcoming blood tests. It sounds like you all had a nice time at the movies...even though Layne slept through some of it. Bless her heart. Hello Michelle, oh that is great news that Layne is joining you to the movies. I tried to find your story that included the photos with the fence but I couldn't locate it. I'm glad to hear that it seems to be working for the girls. I bet they like that little bit of freedom, I can just see them romping about. We had a lovely day today, yesterday it was a different story, we had some pretty severe storms. Tornadoes around us, but none of us had any severe damage. We got more rain. I'm grateful for the rain, that means I don't have to water the gardens. Last week we had over 3" and yesterday we had a 1 1/2 ". So plenty of water. We are all doing well. I take Sadye back on Tuesday for her 6 month blood work. A few extra prayers wouldn't hurt if you can. I am praying her numbers are at least stable. If not Dr. Stacey wants to do an ultrasound. Hello Michelle, it was such good news to hear that Piper is doing much better with the potting training. It sounds like the fencing system Larry got you should work well. At least you won't have to be outside with them every minute. It may free up a bit of time for you, and the girls might enjoy thinking they have a bit of freedom. You will have to keep me posted on how well that works for you. Yes we were all pleased with the test results and that Molly won't have to be on medication. She did do well and knowing that sure helped ease some of the anxiety. You are right I think we worry more about their comfort. So we are doing well. Hello Michelle, thank you for the prayers. We have some preliminary results from the test. They were able to do it today. Dr. Erika doesn't think she has Cushings, but she needs to follow up with the lab, there was some wording that she needed to get clarification on. She did tell Kathy that she doesn't believe Molly has Cushings, because she doesn't have some classic symptoms, so she said if she does have Cushings she believes it may be on the borderline, and she doesn't have any plans for treating her for it. So we are celebrating today, that they were able to get the test done, and have some good news to boot. Molly did well today. One of techs who loves Molly went back several times to check on Molly and to love on her, but Molly was resting comfortably in the kennel. So she wasn't overly stressed there today. I know that was biggest concern leaving her there all day. We got some rain today, about an inch and a half, the next few days are going to be feels like triple digit temps, with high humidity. Will be brutal. I am really beat, it has been a stressful day. Heading to bed, hopefully a good nights sleep. Thank you again for the prayers. Love up on the girls, sending love and hugs!

A few extra prayers today. Molly goes back to get her monthly adjustment and laser treatment. They will also do a UA to see if it is clear and if so, they will be the doing the test to see if she has cushings. If they are able to proceed with the test Molly will be there all day.
