Hello Michelle, Oh I hate that Liams team didn't go any further into the championship, but I'm sure they all played their little hearts and it must be disappointing to them. I'm sure it was a very emotional loss for them. You are right, they should be very proud of themselves. You could send us some of your rain! Lol...So hot and humid all week. Yes she mostly eats wet food, I can get her to eat the dry kibble at times mostly prefers the wet food. Yes it can be frustrating trying to feed her. Especially when she is being stubborn. We were using a small metal spoon but I think the metal on her teeth was an odd feeling or sound, seems to be better with the silicone spoon. You are right...we do what we need to do for our fur babies. So glad to hear Max and Milo are still doing well. I hope the rain goes away so you can enjoy a sunny nice weekend. Sending you and Penny love and hugs! Have a wonderful weekend. Will you be going to the camp to check on the bees? Hope there is some indication that they are taking to the new hive. Stay safe and take care!

Hello Michelle, Sadye is still doing fine, no incidents today. We still struggle with the food, she doesn't care for the dental powder, will try again once she eats her food a bit better. I have found if I spoon feed her with a baby spoon, we don't struggle as much. But it is getting better. Thank you again for the extra prayers, we appreciate them. Glad the little's ball games are over for the most part. I bet they are glad for summer break. Have you got any big plans with them over the summer. I know you mentioned Alina will go over the summer, bless her heart. Wow I wish we had your weather. We are finally out of heat advisory. I wish we would get some rain, the rain would be much appreciated. Our poor gardens are suffering from the heat but I have been keeping them watered, trying to help as much as I can. I got up and ran my errands early this morning. It was a quiet day for us for the most part. How are your daughters fur babies Max and Milo? Still doing well?  I hope you have a great weekend.  Stay safe and cool, sending you and Penny love and hugs!

Thank you to you and Penny saying extra prayers for my Sadye girl. I know what you mean, it is always easier to encourage and support someone, but when you are in the middle of it, totally different. But the prayers help a lot. I am hoping it was a one time fluke. I think my awareness has been heightened because one of the puppies from a later litter than Sadye had a seizure and it ended up passing. I didn't know dogs had seizures until a few years ago when Tina, Sadye's first hooman mom told me one of her puppies from her pups had passed, she was so upset and broken hearted. Tina keeps in contact with all her puppies that she whelped from her pups. It is unusual but Sadye remembers her, when she comes to visit Sadye, she just loves on her and kisses her, won't leave Tina alone. it is so cute and I think it warms Tinas heart that Sadye remembers her. I hope you enjoy the littles games tonight and it makes it convenient that they play close by each other so you can support them both during their games. Once again thank you for the extra prayers, love and hugs. Sending some love and hugs back your way.

Yes Michelle it was very scary. I didn't rest well last night as I was listening for Sadye and checking on her. She did just fine. When I took her to the vet they did run blood tests to make sure it wasn't related to her liver and kidney issues that she recently was diagnosed with. That test come back no issues with that. They are hoping that it was a one time thing as well, as well as Ed and I. I am just to document if she has another one, if more intense I will need to take her back and they will determine if they need to put her on epilepsy meds. I sure hope not, we are already dealing with so much. She has been acting normally for her, I knew it was not heat related, as with this brutal heat, she is only out long enough to do her business, she has a cooling pad to rest on throughout the day, with a fan blowing on her, as well as the A/C. We are still under a heat advisory through Thursday. We are staying in. I'm glad the littles are about done with the games. Layne will finish hers tonight, but Liam has a bit more, congrats to his team for making the play offs. Will you and Larry be going to games, if so try to stay cool. Take care and be safe. Sending love and hugs to you and Penny!

Hope you enjoyed your time with the littles and your daughter and son in law enjoyed there special day together. I had quite the scare this morning. Sadye had a seizure. She has never had one before but I suspected that is what it was. Her little body was twitching. Once I noticed it, I scooped her up and she just went limp in my arms and kind of leaned into me. I put her down on the cooling mat here on the couch and she just kind of was like a limp rag. I jumped up to go out and turn the water off, I was watering the garden, had Ed on the phone, getting the car out of the garage.

Called vet and told them I was rushing Sadye in and what happened. They do think it was a seizure, by the time we got there she was acting normally. The Dr. said it may have been just a one time event, but because of recent concerns with her liver and kidneys he ran some blood work, he didn't see anything that would indicate it because of those issues. So for now I am just to make sure if she has another one, if it is similar to what she experienced today just document, but if it is worse I need to get her back in and they possibly will start her on seizure medication. I panicked. She has been kind of quiet today, which I think is normal as when Kathy's daughter has seizures it sometimes makes her very lethargic. Keeping a close eye on her. If you don't mind saying a little prayer for us. Been an exhausting day, still under heat advisory until Thursday so that doesn't help with us feeling not the best. Take care and be safe. Sending love and hugs to you Penny!

Hello Michelle, we are in the same boat as far as weather. The heat and humidity here are brutal. Summer has arrived with a vengeance. Glad you enjoyed your weekend. Oh my.... it's dangerous for the littles to play in this heat. I sure hope the coaches and such have that in mind. I'm sure they do. I bet it was difficult to set in the heat too. I hope the bees take to their hive and make it their new home. I'm sure the kids enjoyed the trampoline park. Fun Fun Fun!!! Happy Anniversary to your daughter and son in law. I'm sure the kids will be glad to spend time with and Larry. Sadye is doing well. I am keeping her in as much as possible with this heat. All her fur it has got to be miserable, although she doesn't show any signs of distress, but I really don't give her a chance. Will have to water our gardens tomorrow, no rain in sight this week, and with the high temps they will start wilting. I know the heat is exhausting so I will do a little at time, I can't take the heat like I used to...it makes me physically ill if out in it too long. Enjoy your time with the littles tomorrow. Stay cool. Sending love and hugs to you and Penny!

Oh I'm so glad Larry had a great birthday. Sounds like you all did it right. Busy day for sure. Hate to hear you had to see the dentist unexpectedly, but at least you enjoy your day and made it special for Larry. Yes summer is arriving here this weekend full  force, high temps and humidity. I hope you have a great weekend. Sending love and hugs to you and Penny!
