Hello Michelle, the sun was out this morning but didn't last long. It became quite blustery this afternoon, but it is warm enough to start to melt the snow we have had for weeks. I am so over this winter...I think you might be too. I'm sorry it is still snowing in your area. I sure hope it doesn't get too cold for sweet Penny. I saw something interesting the other day. Someone showed that they put a tent up in their back yard, so when it snowed there would be a dry area for the dogs to go to the bathroom, without the snow. I know that isn't going to do much for bitter cold temps, but I thought it was a great idea. I hope she can right out and do her business and then come right back in. Bless her heart, I know how you must be worried about her. I will be praying for you both. Putting her on Pipers pads after asking her to go out and do her business and she tries but is too cold, maybe bring her back indoors and say go on it's ok do your business. Tough situation for both of you. Love up on those girls....sending love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, thank you for the kind words about Sadye's and my caricature. Yours inspired me to do it. I usually don't like doing those, as I always think they look kind of funky. However I loved this one. I will printing one out and putting it on my desk in my craft room. I hope you have a great weekend. I live in Cape Coral,Fl.which is on the south west coast.This has probably been the worst weather as far as cold since I moved here .I never before expirenced temps as low as 30 degrees here before.The mornings are the coldest  and it usually warms up a bit by afternoon.
Maggie love her morning walks though and the temp changes do not bother her.As long as I bundle up it is still a go on our walks.
When i lived in NY I felt the same I loved a good snow fall as long as I was in the house with the Fireplace and a book or a movie some tea or cocoa.
Stay warm and safe.

Yes it is scary , but like you I do try to keep my brain active, even if I dont do it with my body xxx

Gosh, yes we definitely have a lot of things in common michelle. Wow!!  It was my mothers mother who had dementia too. Looks like it might be on the cards for us. I have already warned my daughters 😪 xxx

Aww so sorry about your mom, my mom also has dementia , it's such a horrible disease. My grandmother passed with it too. I was her carer. It was heartbreaking. Yes I know what u mean , I was 60 last year and I'm sure I've gone downhill since then , but hey ho we can only do what we can.  Oh yes I'm trying hard to grow old gracefully but is hard to be graceful when 2 stone overweight lol.xxx

Aww she was just 17 and does look so lovely  .sophia loren she was another beauty . yes I can see the resemblance to her actually . 🥰my mom was often told when she was younger she looked like Elizabeth taylor . How time alters us, tho, cuz my mom looks nothing like liz taylor these days , lol,  shes 83  xxx

Hello Michelle, thankfully we are warming up a bit this week. It's quite cloudy, so still seems chilly. We are sitting at 30 degrees currently. We are fore cast to have increasing temps throughout the week, into next week. Glad you got some quiet time, that you can enjoy a cup of coffee, while the girls nap. I am currently working on quests level 8 doing the wrigglies. It's easier than I thought it would be. I hope you enjoy your time with the littles tonight. It looks like they are always happy to be with and Larry. Sadye is doing well. I have to take her this week, for her yearly, vaccinations, blood work, etc. She is not going to be happy. It just breaks my heart because as soon as we arrive, she starts trembling terribly. I have doing well too. I am over winter, but still have a long way to go before we see any signs of spring.
