Morning Michelle, Molly is doing well, considering her rough day on Monday, I was out there and I helped Kathy put the medicine in her ears, and she didn't fight much, and we did a laser treatment on her hips as well. I'm sorry Larry's back is still bothering him a bit. Yeah a 5 hour ride in the car doesn't sound like it will be very pleasant. I hate to hear you will be alone for a period of time that is bringing you a bit of anxiety. I will pray for you, I can imagine you won't rest well. I have gotten used to be alone, with Ed being out of town often. But I know there are times that I may hear a noise or worry about water/furnace etc failure while he is gone and it can make my anxiety go to heightened awareness which is not pleasant. Sadye is holding steady. She is walking ](slower than usual) pottying normally, eating and drinking. I'm sorry Penny is struggling with eating, it is concerning, I know what you mean about hand feeding. Sadye is doing better with her diet food, but she still won't eat it on her own. I have to hand feed her. We are getting better at it, but I think it would be easier on her and me. But Ed seems to think she likes the attention when getting fed. He is probably right. Yes what we do for our fur babies. I hope you have a good day...sending you and Penny love and hugs!

The anniversary of your mother's death is also my son's 52nd birthday.  And...Mom's birthday is the 22nd of October.  Sandy's visit will keep me from thinking about it too heavily.  I only saw Don's mother when we first started dating  (me around 14-15 years old.  She passed away from an automobile accident (passenger) in her 70's.  :(  I read it in the newspaper and sent Don a sympathy card.  They thought it was a family member (not me) as his mother's maiden name was Johnson.  He loved his parents so much, too.  She worked at Grant Hospital, taking a bus there every day as they never owned a car until Don started drivng.  Can you imagine?  Although my mother never drove in her lifetime.  I know how much you love your mother and will be thinking of you on the anniversary of her passing.  xxxx

We are heading back up to Owls Head..near Malone and Paul Smiths. There are a lot of trails near the house we can go on with the bikes. But there is a manhunt on up that way now...so we'll exercise caution. I also am looking where a med center might be bc I am doing all this traveling with a large kidney stone which came as a surprise....It is stuck and needs to come out. Surgery is scheduled for the 29th, which I was hoping I could avoid, but its not looking positive. This is a new adventure for me...hopefully one and done. Laura had to have the same surgery  so she explained  her experience (its in and out) but I'll be a little out of it for a week. Regarding going to LI. I drive to Ma and then to Bridgeport Ct where I drive onto the ferry and it lands in Port Jefferson . Jordan and Laura live about 5 minutes from there. Port Jeff is kind of like Skaneateles on the water, so its lovely. Its trippy taking the ferry, but so much easier than going thru NYC. It only takes about 45 minutes to get across, so you can get a snack, do work, have a drink if you want...its comfy, unless the water is rough, then it makes an interesting cruise. The North Shore is really pretty...I like it there, but I do wish they were closer. I'll send you some pics. I can't believe how much Mac looks like a little Jordan.

Morning Michelle, Molly had a rough day yesterday. She got her usual adjustment, laser and we have noticed her shaking her head, so Dr. looked and she has a nasty double ear infection, bacterial and yeast, so she come home with meds, and has a follow up in 10 days. During her adjustment she yelped really loud and the Dr didn't expect her to react like that, so she told Kathy to ice her little hips if she would tolerate it. The laser therapy machine arrived yesterday, and I did a small amount will gradually work in more time but don't want to over do it right away. Glad it is here. We are experiencing cool mornings but warming up in the 90's but not as humid so a bit more tolerable. I bet Penny enjoys the little longer walks. How is Larry, is back any better? I sure hope so. I hope you have a great rest of your week. Sending love and hugs to you and Penny!

I was sad to leave them..it was a wonderful stay and fun to be around the littles. Elle is so chill, while Mac is a handful, but so much fun. He is a parrot right now repeating everything, so have to exercise caution with words..hahaha. Jordan and Laura are doing well....they get pooped with two littles, but we all have. Weather was gorgeous as here, so we took a drive out on the wine trail and had lunch etc. Had dinner with her parents Sunday and I got back yesterday. It was a nice alone trip as I could help with the babies. Hopefully they'll consider Thanksgiving here. Loving this weather, altho a little rain would be good. Now heading back to the ADK's for our anniversary. Same place as last time, I'll let you know how the foliage is. MA was just turning but not real vibrant; I think bc of the lack of rain, so I'll be curious to see North.

Hope you are having a great weekend. Sadye had a bit of a relapse yesterday, seems a bit better today. I ordered a laser therapy machine and it will be here tomorrow. The Vet has used it on her in the past and it seems to help, so anxious for it to arrive. Sending you and Penny love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, I did have a nice day. The weather here is hot and dry. We haven't had any rain for over 50 days and the grass and everything is brittle and brown. How did your soup turn out? I hope it turned out good, it's always nice to find a new recipe to add to your collection. Sadye seems to be on the mend, I haven't given her any pain meds for 2 days now, I even catch her trying to run a bit, it's funny to watch her. Thanks for asking about her. I hope you have a great weekend. Sending you and Penny love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, Wow sounds like Larry's Dr. sure doesn't listen to his words and does not seem very sympathetic to his issues. Black and white doesn't work well in medicine, in my humble opinion. There is always a grey area, so many things can play into issues with our health. I wouldn't blame him either to seek out another Dr. That is a shame. I know our Dr. is in his mid 80's and has cut down on his hours but we sure don't want to switch Dr's when the time comes. He listens to us and addresses our concerns as much as he can. I'm glad his blood pressure is maintaining. I hate to hear that he hurt his back last week. I hope he can baby it as much as he can until it feels better. I take it that he will not be going to physical therapy. Losing weight is not always the answer. That's one of the first things they always say....well if you lose some weight. Lol It is warming back up again, more seasonable temperatures, but not an extreme heat wave. Sis and I are still babying her back, since she hurt it last week. We were at my sister's last night and she wandered out to far and sit down, I knew I was going to have to go get her. The meds help keep her still but she sure isn't herself. I hope you and Penny have a great rest of your week. Sending love and hugs!

P.S.  Randy stands by the closet door every day waiting to see "the ducks" I've put together.  He has to see them multiple times a day.  We had 24 of them.  Four have been given away.  ;)
