Hello Michelle, We have been dealing  with the neighbor who has 2 larger dogs, one a pit bull and another I think is a boxer mix since April, which was the first incident I started documenting. I have called animal control several times and Ed has spoken to them, but every time there is an incident and he goes to have a conversation with them, they hide. They won't answer the door. So this time he come and we had a discussion about what my rights are with a dog running at large and in my yard. So I feel better that I have a better understanding, but that really doesn't give me any protection for Sadye. I guess every one has to deal with people who don't feel like the law applies to them. I'm sorry to hear that you have to experience some of the same. So I took her this morning and they did some x rays, she has compression more just below her shoulders, than her hip area that was injured before. She come home with prednisone, a muscle relaxer, and gabapentin for pain. She doesn't need to see her back unless she isn't any better after 2 weeks of treatment. I also inquired about the amount of time and how often I can laser therapy on her.

She was pleased I had one and agreed doing treatment at home will help. So I am glad I took it with me, so she could see the one I had, and the instructions. I am pleased to hear the girls are getting along better with each new day. I know that brings relief and joy to your heart. I know what it is like having a puppy, they do take a lot of time. We have a lovely day on tap here, but things are going to change drastically very soon. Very cold temperatures along with possibility of snow early next week. I hope you have a great weekend. Hello Michelle, I hope you are having a good week. We are struggling again with Sadye's back. We had a situation the other night, with a large big dog in our yard....again. I scooped her up and evidentally I must have injured her back again. She was just getting back to a more normal but now she is down again, this time I think worse than a few weeks ago. I feel terrible knowing I was the one who did it to her, but I was trying to keep her safe. I have contacted animal control again as we have been dealing with this one neighbor letting their 2 large dogs run at large, I have a better understanding of my rights and I sent photographic evidence of one of the dogs in our yard. So we back to keeping her as quiet as possible. Please a say a quick prayer for her. It looks like things are progressing with Piper. Warmed my heart to see Penny standing outside the pen wagging her tail. Take care friend. Sending love and hugs your way!

Having a new puppy must keep you busy!  Our two kitties are doing likewise here - they have grown so much since we got them, and are in to everything - lol!  One of them wants to cuddle with the dog, who really wants no part of it, but he is slowly being worn down.  No serious snow yet here, which has been a nice bonus, but it is cooling off more each day, and I'm sure it will find us soon enough!  Hope it's not too soon here or where you are!

Hello Michelle, we had a lovely day here, weather wise. Sunny and warmed up a bit. I hope the little were able to enjoy some of the Halloween celebrations, and the weather didn't ruin to many plans. Glad the girls are still getting along for the most part. Hopefully with a little more time the jealousy will subside to a bare minimum. I am thrilled to hear she is doing well in her little pen at night. I know you must be relieved. I hope you are able to getting a little better rest at night. I haven't handed out candy in years. I would buy stuff and not have one, so I just don't turn any lights on. It sure isn't like it used to be. It is sad that it has gotten to the point that you have to be very cautious about getting treats. You just can't take any chances going to homes you don't know. I agree, it may have been very chaotic and really getting the girls all ramped up. The costumes can be scary for dogs. I can't even imagine how Sadye would react now, that she is older. Good Morning Michelle, I am very pleased to hear the good news about the kids. Piper is settling in to her new safe place. Using the pad to potty during the night. Those pads are awesome to help with training. Glad Penny has decided it's ok to play with the new addition. She is probably thinking I can pull this little furry creature around playing tug of war. I'm stronger, bigger and I can. Glad you all had a good day yesterday. We are doing well. We are experiencing very autumn like weather. Yesterday it was cool, gloomy and rainy. Leaves are turning rapidly. We don't have plans for the weekend. Ed is usually only home about 24 hours so we usually have lots to do. Sadye is doing well. I hope you have a great rest of the week.
