Hello Michelle, thankfully we are warming up a bit this week. It's quite cloudy, so still seems chilly. We are sitting at 30 degrees currently. We are fore cast to have increasing temps throughout the week, into next week. Glad you got some quiet time, that you can enjoy a cup of coffee, while the girls nap. I am currently working on quests level 8 doing the wrigglies. It's easier than I thought it would be. I hope you enjoy your time with the littles tonight. It looks like they are always happy to be with and Larry. Sadye is doing well. I have to take her this week, for her yearly, vaccinations, blood work, etc. She is not going to be happy. It just breaks my heart because as soon as we arrive, she starts trembling terribly. I have doing well too. I am over winter, but still have a long way to go before we see any signs of spring. I hope you have a great rest of your week. Love up on the girls, sending you love and hugs!

I can tell you were close to your mom by your photos and I can only imagine how much you miss her.  The same thing happened to my mom when she lost her mom, and I know it bothered her as well.  She had just stepped out of the room to get a bite of dinner...but perhaps your mom wanted to spare you and slip away quietly, even though I can tell that you would have loved to take the journey with her as far as you could.  The other thing that is more important is that she knows you were there throughout her life and especially her illness, and I have no doubt that your love and support provided more comfort than you will probably ever know.  I have no doubt that she carries your love and her wonderful memories of you with her, or that she misses you as much as you miss her.  If you keep the bigger picture in mind and remind yourself of the wonderful relationship you had and the support you shared with each other, perhaps the final event of her passing, although not insignificant, and definitely not insignificant to you can be seen in the larger context of her life.  I truly hope so...I can tell that she was a very special lady and a fabulous mom...I hope your wonderful memories help keep her close...x

If it were up to me I would be in bed as much as possible, and if I had my choice I would not go out side till it was my age,, 66  lol
but since we live in Syracuse were stuck with What we get, its cold and were half way through this awful season, stay warm - good luck with letting the dogs out to pee, our grand doggy use to hate the rain and would not go out in it. He has passed on.

Hello Michelle, heading to bed to soon. The roads out to Kathy's was as I expected. Partially snow/ice covered. The sun comes out during the day and melts a bit, but then once the sun goes down, everything freezes again. So a little nervous about going out tomorrow night, not much change with these cold temps until next week. The salt isn't doing much they put down. Our girls have a mind of their own, but then the effects of the weather takes over and they make it seem like it is all about me, pick me up and take me in. I'm done. I think alot of people have finally realized they can use the leaf blower, if the snow is flaky enough, to just blow off vehicles and such. Ed does that too. I hope you got your sauce all done, and you enjoy your dinner, it sounded quite yummy. I have never had garlic spaghetti. Nothing wrong with having an early dinner, then you can clear things away and then relax the rest of the evening. I hope you don't get any more snow anytime soon. I hope you have a great rest of your week. Love up on the girls. Sending love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, I hope by the time this message reaches you the storm will have completely moved out of your area. Glad Penny is handling the potty business like a champ. Bless her heart. Ed has a snow plow on his garden tractor and he does a great job plowing our drive and all the areas Sadye uses to do her business. Of course it is never big enough for her, she still wants to get in the snow. When she was younger and before her back injury she would just romp in the snow, like there was not a care in the world. I sure miss seeing her so happy and playing in it. When she goes out she likes to sniff everything and has to find perfect blade of grass to do her business, I have told her there is no grass she can go anywhere, but she is very selective where she wants to go. I hope Larry didn't have to work too long today. I bet your son, had some long hours. When Ed lived in PA. He used to plow for the township and he worked long hours. The roads here in town are still pretty snow/ice covered. With the cold temps the salt they put down hasn't done much to melt anything. The roads down to St. Louis was completely clear when Ed went down. Not really looking forward to going out to my sisters tomorrow night, they hardly do anything to her roads out that way. I will just go slowly and take my time. Please stay safe, love up on the girls, sending love and hugs!

Morning Michelle, the sun is out but we set record low temp overnight. It was -11 feels like -30. Will be cold all week, but the sun shining sure helps. How are things out your way. I have had you in prayers. How is Penny? Poor baby, Is Larry working today? Ed will head back down this afternoon. Glad he was able to stay home yesterday. Continued prayers. Love up on the girls, sending love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, the storm has finally moved out of area after dumping 10" snow. Thank goodness no ice. Just all snow and brutally cold temps. Wow you are getting a lot of snow. Yes the cold temps are to stay in our neck of the woods for the week. Poor Penny, Sadye is much the same way, except she dally's around until she walk anymore and then she wants me to pick her up and carry her to the house. It's times like these I wish she would use training pads, but she has never used them. I hate to hear she was so cold she was crying. Bless her heart. Yes I know what you mean about not wanting to scold her. She does know that it isn't tolerated, but I guess for her it's the lesser of the two evils. We did most of our cooking yesterday, Ed wasn't sure if he would leave today or not. So we made homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight. It sure will be yummy on a day like this. Ed's job shut down due to the weather so he won't have to go down tonight. Thank goodness. One less worry for me. You guys stay hunkered down, stay safe and warm. Love up on the girls, sending love and hugs!
