Michelle that is great news! If she whines during the night try to endure it, if you try and console her she will learn that if she is fussy you will come rescue her. You want her to gain some independence, so you might have a few more sleepless nights. You are right she has everything she needs during the night. Glad her and Penny are finding their way to being friends. I bet you are relieved. I hope it continues on this positive path. Enjoy your day. Sending love and hugs to you all!

Hello Michelle, I hope you had a better day and night with Piper. It sounds like you got some good advice and suggestions from the breeder. how did things go with the  puppy play pen. They can be a big help. Yes trust the process....let them find their place with one another. I hope it comes soon. I think you are struggling with all of the new things you are experiencing. Continued prayers. Yes keep me updated...I am awaiting the turn around point. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Sending you all love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, I am sorry you are struggling with Piper, not sleeping well, making messes in her crate, it is good that she knows the concept of the pee pad. I have heard that if the crate is too big they will mess in it, because they have more room to move around. Can you or have you tried putting her in the crate during the day in small amounts of time and then taking her out as soon as you open the door. Maybe the correlation of leaving the crate to go outside or use a pad to potty. Just suggestions. I know puppy sleeplessness is brutal when you are so tired already from not sleeping yourself. Hang in there friend. Well Penny is letting her know she is still the boss and she is showing it. She is jealous and wants everyone to know she feels slighted with the new addition. It will get better. Just hang in there. With a new puppy you have to make adjustments and deal with some issues you don't normally have to but I am praying that a break will come soon for you all. I don't see it as complaining, just describing the woes of a new puppy. I hope you have a great weekend as well. Sending love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, that is great news about your driveway. Hopefully snow won't come before you can make full use of your driveway. Glad you are pleased with it. Did Piper do better last night? I sure wish our fur babies could tell us what their needs are, it would make it easier to calm them. Yes it is temporary and with each new day, you will see improvements and such. The older she gets the more rest she will need. We are well. Sadye is at the door at the moment barking....she loves basking in the sun at the door, she can be so nosy. Thanks for sending the updates on Piper. Hang in there friend, better days ahead. Sending love and hugs to you all!

Mopping with the puppy....I remember well. You watch how it turns around tho....it'll be good and Piper will be very attached to Penny. It sounds like Piper is pretty smart with the pee pad training. Outside pees will come along, altho with the cold and rain it does make it tough. My doggies won't step into the rain. They have never peed inside but I have found an occasional turd in an obscure room if 'people' aren't paying attention (Jim). I always suspect Murphy bc he has a different and a little defiant attitude. I am going to stay home today and chill. Since surgery I am fine...I just don't like being put under anesthesia as it takes a couple days to clear out of my system. I followup with the doc in early december. I do not want that happening again for sure. Hang in their with your new furry child...All will settle and the mopping will continue until they are more equal in size...then the wrestling starts😉

Hello Michelle, I hope they finish the drive as soon. the sooner they get finished the sooner you can use it again. I know what you mean about knowing how much you miss something until you have to. We had our kitchen, dining room completed gutted and major renovations done, it took over 6 months to complete, delays, unforeseen issues. So our refrigerator was in the living room, along with our microwave and crockpot. A heavy duty drop cloth divided the rooms but still was very unpleasant. That was nice of your daughter to have a play day for the fur kids. I bet Penny enjoyed going over and playing with them. Gave you and Piper some time to bond without feeling like slighting Penny. Glad to hear things are settling down a bit. I know it hurts your heart to know Penny is so jealous, and you are trying to balance your time for the both of them.
Those groups on Facebook can be a great source of help with our fur babies. I do hope Penny comes around soon, so you can really enjoy the puppy stage with Piper.

We got a bit of good news at Molly's appointment. The vet thinks Molly's little back legs are getting stronger. Although she must carry herself differently because she is having to have more adjustments on her shoulder area, she yelped during one of the adjustments, but did well. She is a little trooper. Yes Sadye stays home while we take Molly. We usually are only gone about 3 hours, she doesn't do well in the car, she wants to be held the whole time and she gets quite squirmy, so easier for us all if she stays home. She really doesn't mind. She naps and I check on her with my pet camera to check on her whereabouts while I'm gone. We are finally experiencing fall like weather. We got 2 inches of rain on Saturday, followed with much cooler temps. Like you we have our heat on, and it kicks on overnight but during the day it gets warm enough to run. Not looking forward to the winter ahead. It will be here before we know it. I hope you have a great rest of your week. Love up on the babies, sending you all love and hugs.

She's traveling with her friend, Bill.  We met him in Columbus years ago.  He's staying at the Flamingo.  We'll take him to the South Point with us and then he'll travel by a bus they have there that takes people to their next destination.  Hope Randy does ok.  You know how I worry about him.  :(  xxx

The doggies will get it together. Zoey used to drag Murphy around by the neck, in fact mop the floor with him when he was little. I would get nervous she was being a little rough, but he was never hurt. She was pissed too...but they love each other now...still wrestle and carry on sometimes, but they are attached. Penny was there first, so she is setting boundaries and is prob a little jealous. When I walk in from work or errands; Murph is always trying to out do Zoey for giving him more attention. I love having the two of them....and you will too. Keep posting those pics..they will be your ying and yang❤️

Week at the Cape was nice and relaxing..a little shopping and seafood. The first two days were stormy bc of the nor eastern storm, so we hung out in sweats, built a fire and chilled.I don't get to do to often so that was a treat. I have been watching your posts on Piper..omg, she is so sweet. How is it going? Is Penny giving you the side eye for bringing another home? They will love each other. How's the sleeping and potty training going? We'll be coming up on 'fall back' soon, so that will mess everyone up here.
