Hello Michelle, thank you for all the extra prayes. Kathy spoke with the vet late this afternoon. It was not what Kathy wanted to hear. The UA test could take quite a few days, they believe that Molly may have Cushings Disease, but they are holding off on any other testing until they get the results back of the one. It may help them eliminate or confirm what is going on. When Kathy called she was crying and very upset. I told her that Sadye had to have the test done that may be the next step. The Dr. told Kathy she didn't think Molly has Cushings because she really doesn't have many symptoms that go along with that. So we are still playing the waiting game. I just wanted to share the information I have at this point and to ask you continue your prayers. Kathy asked  Dr what she needed to do in the meantime, the Dr. told her she didn't need to do at this point. Molly has had abnormal urine tests before, so we weren't surprised with that, her blood work had continued to increase, that is what prompted the ultrasound. Kathy said Molly is still quite subdued today, and she shared that with Dr. but she wasn't alarmed, said she was just exhausted with the vomiting, diarrhea, tests etc. I will keep you posted when I have more information. Michelle, we took Molly for her ultrasound, the only thing we know at this point, is bladder appeared to be inflamed so they took a sample and going to send it off. Molly has been a bit sick, therefore while she was there, she had vomited and  had diarrhea in the kennel while she was there. We are awaiting Dr to call with all the results of the ultrasound. She was sent home with some meds for the upset tummy and and diarrhea. Hopefully she feels better soon. I will keep you posted, thanking you for the prayers and asking for more. Asking for prayers for Molly Mooch my sister Kathys fur baby and Kathy my sister. They did blood work on Monday on Molly  and they called and need to do an ultrasound on her liver and bladder. We both are beside ourselves with worry. Not sure how soon Kathy will get any results but just wanted to ask for extra prayers.

Hello Michelle, I think the majority of the country was dealing with some extreme weather. I can imagine sleeping would be difficult with the wind howling that loudly. We had some severe thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon, then a huge temp drop into the evening. We only got a dusting of snow, but due to the rain before that it created some frozen water on the roadways. We are expecting some more snow tonight, but not much. I think our weather is very similar here in Central Il. There is always the chance of ice storms, I hate this time of year because the weather can be so unpredictable and change in a moment. I'm glad Piper is doing well. I know you are disappointed that Piper and Penny didn't become the best of friends right away. It sounds like Penny tolerates her to a certain point but beyond that it is up for discussion for her. Bless her heart. She was number one for a long time and now there is another one she has to share with it, it probably is confusing for her at times. I'm like you I do hope when Piper kind of grows out of some of the annoying puppy antics and settles a bit Penny will take more interest in her.  Have you got big plans for Liams birthday for tomorrow or are you celebrating over the weekend? I know you speak very fondly of him, him being the first and the only boy I can understand how he has a big part of your heart. They sure do grow up so quickly. We are doing well. I just read your post.  Oh, I feel sorry for you not getting sleep because of the winds.  :(  Hope the cold snap is gone soon.  This time of year is so unpredictable.  I remember the blizzard Ohio had in the first week of April back in the day.  Brrrrr!!!!  Keep warm!  xxx

I am so glad Piper seems to be doing without the pain meds. It sounds like she is quite well since her procedure. It amazes me how resilient puppies are. Sadye is doing well. Although since her last incident, she has become somewhat lazy. She will roam the grass to find the perfect blade to do her business on, then when it's time to come in, she sits down and wants me to pick her up. I refuse to do it. I figure if she has the strength to roam all over, then she has the strength to come up her ramp and get inside.  Just testing me I'm sure. She eats ok for the most part. I still have to spoon feed her with her prescription kidney food, she won't eat it on her own, being defiant. She gets chicken gizzards for supper and eats them fine. Sadye likes cheese too. But I can guarantee that if I did do that to her kidney food, she would turn her nose up and walk away, and refuse to eat it. How funny, that Penny thinks you are sprinkling cheese on her food with just the hand movements. What ever works I say. Continued below...
