We are leaving in the morning for the wedding, which is Saturday. It's going to be 91 and cloudy there,so I am changing outfits to something more 'flowy' to endure sweating to death. I spoke with her last night...shes nervous but excited. Jennifer has no clue this is happening Saturday,which is sad, but a cruel reality of addiction. We'll start back on Sunday but plan on trying to do part of Shenandoah Nat Park. I am keeping my fingers crossed the Mountain Laurel and Rhododendrun (sp?) are blooming. I have a lot of my potted plants done around here..tried to take advantage of the couple of sunny days we were granted. Roman started Baseball too. Hopefully when I get back I can watch him...he's a good kid. Enjoy today before MORE rain. I am going to overpack as usual...hahaha

Michelle, thank you. I went to Amazon and have it in a cart so I won't forget next time I place an order. She is doing better with eating her new food but if this will help it would be worth it. Added bonus it may help with her dental issues. I have her follow up blood work appointment set up for Thursday. She has been on the new food for 30 days now and they wanted to retest after 30 days. I sure am praying for a good result. We have had intermittent showers through the day today....maybe even through tomorrow but may have record temps here on Thursday....possible to hit 90. Sounds like you are set up for enjoying the weather, as soon as it quits raining. I enjoy sitting outdoors as long as it's not too hot, cold or to many bugs. Not asking for much.....LOL! Hello Michelle....it sounds like you had a lovely day filled with a few sad solemn moments. What a lovely tribute for Mema...your granddaughter letting the balloon go to heaven for your mom. Isn't it wonderful when kids find a special name for loved ones and it sticks...very endearing. If you don't mind sharing the stuff you put on Penny's food? Maybe it will entice Sadye to eat. At this point I will try about anything. I need to get her in for them to run the blood work, they wanted to recheck when she had been on the new kidney food a month, so it is time. I sure am praying for good results. We got some more porch time today...we are taking advantage of these good days, it won't be long and it will be too hot for us do that. So glad the rain has moved out of your area for a few days. I love to craft...it is my therapy. I call it my happy place. I also love to bake. Ed loves his baked goods, I can have a little and I'm done. So every week I ask him if he would like something baked. Some weeks he does, others he will say not this week. I hope you have a great week ahead. Sending you Penny loves.

Hydrageas are east to start from old stick.   Not pruned ours either.   Altho one of ours was started from old wood that I cut off one from my partents a few years ago.    Must be old wood to start a new plant & takes a year to show growth.   Enjoy trying to do this with plants.   Mine are blue  and pink.   what color are yours?
Little Liam I am sure had a great time playing his ball game in the rain.    How is he at playing?     Did you get good weather for the parade to be a go ahead today?
So are Koda has been good on my lawn patching.    I also spent yesterday putting in 2 more rolls in a large dirt area where he usually lays in dirt.  Yes dogs have an amazing  distance of smelling.    guess thats why they make great police dogs.   From that I pruned my white lilac.    I just love being Mrs. GreenJeans, lol.    By 6pm I was unsure of dinner making or a shower,  hahahaha.

I understand about the worry for you with Alina, thats love you have for her.     I know Larry is right, but its hard to step back.   
She has a personal plan the school has set up for her.   When do they get progress reports thru the year?     

Michelle you must be having the weather system that moved through last week, it rained for 7 days straight. I am doing well. I make greeting cards...I call it my therapy, so I was able to get in the office today and play in there, then we ( Sadye & I)  got some time on the front porch. I got my hummingbird feeder out today and will be awaiting their arrival. I love to watch them. So we had a good day. Although Sadye is on a hunger strike...again. She did really well yesterday and I was bragging on her, but today...nothing at all today, hate to think she will be going to bed hungry, but she has a choice of food, it's not like I'm forcing one kind on her. So it may a rough night for us. I hope the rain goes away soon and you are able to enjoy the weekend. Sending you and Penny loves!
