Good Morning Michelle, yes Sadye does seem to be on the mend. So grateful for that. I don't walk her, where we live there is a lot of traffic, so when we go to Kathy's she has free reign of walking, but Molly was a bit under the weather last week as well. You are right about them picking stuff up like we do when we expose ourselves to the general public. Yum, I love Mississippi Pot roast, I made it once, Ed didn't care for it much, but I sure do. I love my crock pot as well. We use ours quite often. You are right, getting it in and just walk away to have a yummy dinner later. My kind of cooking. I am not one of the best cook's. I should have listened to my mom and dad growing up. My decision not to learn, sure taught me a lesson in my later years that I didn't do myself any favors by being prepared. We have to eat. Ed doesn't complain much, but I do have follow recipes, I'm not one to throw a little of this and a little of that, and it magically turns into into this mouth watering meal. Like you prefer baking. I would rather bake than cook. LOL! Our weather we will have a very pleasant day on tap today, but then down hill from here. Dropping temps and possible snow later in the week. I hope you have a great day. Love up on the girls. Sending love and hugs!

Yes we are quite gratful Sadye is doing much better. She did have a bowel movement and it was in solid stater. I know she grateful for that as I am. Eating fine. The vet asked me if she ever pancreatitis and fortunately she has not. Luckily Sadye wasn't dehydrated, that was one of my concerns. Poor Max...hopefully he doesn't have a flare up anytime soon. It's awful for our babies and not easy on those having to clean up after them. Poor Kitty. I have seen several short videos on some pages I follow and showing the babies getting fluid under their skin. Glad your kitty was able to overcome whatever it was and stared eating and drinking normally again. Got all my major cooking done this morning, so relax for a few hours before starting early dinner before Ed goes back. Enjoy your day. Thanks for the extra prayers. Love up on the girls, sending love and hugs.

Yes Sadye has eaten today, so far so good, still no diarrhea or vomiting. I think she is on the mend. Thank you for the extra prayers. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

We had a good nights sleep last night. Will try to get Sadye to eat today. Wasn't really up for anything yesterday. No more vomiting or diarrhea during the night. Thank you for the prayers.

Thank you for the extra prayers for Sadye. We both got some much needed rest today. She doesn't want to eat anything but the vet said not to force it. So I will try in the morning. No more diarrhea or vomiting so I think we are moving in the right direction. Praying for a better night and much better tomorrow. Love up on the girls, sending love and hugs! Thanks again for the extra prayers.

Michelle, thank you for the prayers. She has some kind of stomach bug. Gave her a injection for nausea, antibiotic, probiotics, and oral medication for the nausea. She is finally resting well at the moment. She was whimpering throughout the night. She sure was feeling puny this morning. We both haven't had much rest so we are gonna rest and hopefully get a bit of sleep.

Good Morning Michelle, if you don't mind saying a prayer for Sadye, she has had diarrhea for a couple of days and started vomiting overnight. I have an appointment for her this morning. Love up on your girls, sending love and hugs!

Hello Michelle, I have known several people who have gotten shingles who were older and they can be quite painful, when I worked in the optometry field we would have patients come in and they would have shingles and they were getting close to the eyes and our optometrist was always concerned when she had those cases. So Ed and I decided it best to get the immunization. To be honest Michelle, I really don't think my rash was due to the shot. I truly believe it was a reaction some lotion I used. Yes the Dr. said it could be possible to have a delayed reaction, but honestly I don't it was that. We have only had the one injection and have to have the other one 2-6 months after the first one. Continued below.

I did ask Dr. if it was a side effect if I could experience it with the secondary injection and he said yes it was possible, but just treat it like I did with this rash, cortisone cream and Zyrtec. The rash presented about 4 weeks after the injection, it lasted about 10 days and it wasn't miserable just annoying really. We do get the flu shot every year. We didn't get one, one year and I got a severe flu that was going around and I was really sick and had to go to E.R therefore we make sure we get one every year. Yes I can still get flu but the chances are lessened that's for sure.

You only have one shingles immunization (2 injections) and then you don't have to have it like the yearly flu shots. My opinion worth it, to help ward off shingles. Yes we are warm here this week, we are expecting rain tomorrow with a chance of storms. No we don't have any snow, it all melted about 2 weeks ago when we had our first bout of warm weather. Grateful for that. I hope it warms up enough for you to melt all your remaining snow, before another system brings in more. Sadye is doing well for the most part, she has had a bit of diarrhea today but it seems to be getting better. How are your girls? I hope they are doing well. Give them tummy rubs and love. Sending love as well. Have a great rest of your week.
