The weather's suddenly got much milder, mid 50's but rain is expected any time now! It was raining first thing when I went to the hall but soon cleared so it's an improvement.

I wonder what Rowdy's having done now, Randy won't like it that's for sure! Since I was out from 9 this morning until it was dark I don't know if Daryn has been here but there was no sign of him when I got home.

It sounds just as well that you stayed home, black ice is awful stuff so dangerous. I've never seen a vehicle in this country with chains, They can be used in the north of England and Scotland but only if conditions are bad enough. I think they could damage the road surface if the snow is not deep enough and our road surfaces are dreadful at the best of times. Motorways and major roads are not too bad but there are so many pot holes which wreck your tyres when driving around the town.

Hi Janet, there were no new puzzles so I wasn't tempted which is probably just as well I really don't need any more at the moment.lol

The twins have grown since I last saw them and were quite shy for a bit. They soon forget you're around and get on with playing and the little cuddly dogs went down well. On my way home I went to see auntie. She was a bit down and said she'd had another tumble when her knee gave way which made her afraid to go for her usual walk. I spent almost 3 hours with her and she said she was glad I'd been as it cheered her up. Tomorrow she'll go to one of her sons for dinner which will keep her spirits up. She was telling me she now only has to go once a week to have her op site dressed but there still is a hole about half an inch across which will need to heal from the inside outwards.

Hi Janet; yes -another storm. They're calling this one a blizzard (but it may change course) and we could get up to 20 inches of snow and 50mph winds. news reports are saying not to go anywhere on Monday. I don't go out much anymore anyway but worry for the people who are going to try.  :(
