Hi,Littlebit. Lovely to hear from you. I wondered how you were.
Here we are freezing cold .But sunny most days. Other parts of U.K. have had snow and floods.
When I see the news we are very lucky and have nothing to moan about !!
On my own. So had a lovely, quiet Christmas. Just how I like it. I did stay up to watch the New Year Fireworks on t.v. Also  could hear  other fireworks in the area. Miss the old days when the ships at anchor sounded their horns.  Take care .xxxx

Hi Littlebit, it's really nice hearing from you.  I think about you when I do my visits.  Glad you had a nice time during the holidays.  I fell asleep watching tv on New Years Eve.  That was never an important holiday for me.  But it's Christmas that I love.  My sister went to the hospital the day after Christmas.  She came home a couple of days ago.  She was in for New Years.  But she is back with her family.  But now my brother-in-law is sick.  He was told he had a partial blockage & they didn't give him an appointment with a Gastroenterologist util Jan 14th.  But now they are saying that he has something on his liver & pancreas.  He has a doctor's appointment on Monday.  His daughter, my niece, her breast cancer had spread to her liver.  But this might not be cancer.  Could be something benign.  I was worried about the grandchildren.  They live with my sister & they lost their mother a year ago & now the grandparents are having health issues.  But my sister sounds better.  I was trying to figure out how to add birthday dates to contacts on my phone & accidentally called my sister tonight.  lol  It's freezing by me.  That's a shame your internet was out for so long.  Sometimes we

I did stay up until midnight on New Year's Eve, but was, of course, in my nightgown, and curled up with a book.  I did have a lovely Christmas, and, yes, the picture is of me with my oldest grandchild, Cece, who's 8. take care, and hope to see you back in Fairyland soon! Hi Littlebit, it's good to hear from you.  We had some rain a couple of days ago & it's raining today.  We didn't get any snow yet, but northern Jersey did.  We rented out our condo by the ocean.  Everyone is okay here.  Glad all is well by you.  How is your grandson doing?
It's great you get to spend time with him & that your family lives close.  The big thing here are the drones that are flying over for the past several weeks & the federal government's lack of help.  Only when NY started having problems & complained to the feds, did they decide to do something.  Still not sure what they are doing.  NJ mayors were going out themselves, with state police,, & patrolling at night.  Hearing all kinds of stories but no information yet.  It's impossible to believe the federal government doesn't know anything.  You are lucky you aren't on the coast.  One of our people saw 50 drones coming in over the ocean.  It's a little scary.  Take care.  xox

That was a lovely "welcome back", thank you so much. I hope that you and your beautiful family are all happy and healthy? It's been another challenging year for me but we keep on keeping on and hoping for the best. I'm trying to keep my time in the garden sensible, not let it get out of hand to the point I'm playing FL more than I'm not! We will have to see how things go but I ditched my Topiary garden, too much stress and upkeep, I'll keep it simple for now. It was so good to see you in my garden, I have missed you all.
