Hi Polly! I'm so sorry that there just seems to be no let up from your Crohns, you must be physically and mentally exhausted and you're always so upbeat, I honestly do not know how you do it. Have you ever had surgery? My driving instructor had two or three surgical procedures for his and Steven had one. I know that it's not a guaranteed solution but it does give respite, even if only temporary. Bless you heart, you're an amazing, strong woman. And your work sucks arse!!! I hope starting back at work went ok. What did your consultant say? The dressing is all off the (teeny tiny) would on my chest and the device isn't digging in quite as much so hopefully things are looking up. I used Google AI and it was amazing, so helpful and told me things that really the hospital should have done!

The monitor is just that, a monitor. It's only function is to send information 24/7 for a specialist to review. They're trying to find out what is causing my breathlessness, my palpitations and dizzy spells as they could be heart related. It's in place for three years so they're not in a rush 🤣🤣
I don't even want to think about my son moving out, let alone moving away! He's 21 at the end of this month and is just finding his travelling feet. He's not gone far only to Germany and the Netherlands (he meets a Dutch friend and they go to Anime ComicCons) but he flies alone which ties me in all kinds of knots 🙄 But our boys stretching their wings with confidence goes to show what a great job we did raising them. Be a proud mum. Sending love and gentle hugs xx

Hello Polly, so glad to hear from you. We are well. We were actually able to sit out on the front porch this evening. It is Sadye's place. She watches the traffic go by and is able to enjoy some fresh air. She goes back to the vets later in the month to do her 6 month blood work to check her kidney and liver numbers. If they are stable I assume we will continue as we are doing, with the kidney food and liver supplements. If not, next step is an ultrasound. Really hoping for stable numbers. I hate to hear that you are back to work on Monday. I know you really struggle with your condition and having to go to work. You are so right, no one who has never struggled with a condition like you do has no idea how debilitating it can be. Is there any way your physician can write a letter explaining your condition and make a plea that they make an exception for you? I wish that could be possible. I sure wish I could change that for you. You would think they could find something that would be more effective than what they have already tried. So glad to hear that the handsome Hugo is doing well. Oh I bet Hugo is missing him. It sounds like your son is doing well with his relocation. That's great. I bet you miss him terribly. Especially since you two are so close. It makes it nice that he knows people there and didn't go in not having any support system in place. Polly I will be praying that your situation will turn around soon. I know it is difficult and the stress of it all doesn't help. You take care dear friend. Love up on that handsome boy Hugo. Sending you love and hugs. Take care and be safe!

Hi, Polly! Things are always eventful here, I think. We've had a windstorm that knocked some trees down. Garden work continues. My wife suddenly decided that she wants cucumbers, so I bought two plants and now I have to figure out where I can squeeze them in. 😊 So, I'll be working in the garden shortly. 😊 Have a wonderful day!.💖💖💖

Hi Polly, it was lovely to see you in our garden, sorry I missed you. It just so happened that I was in hospital yesterday having an internal heart monitor fitted. I'm very sore today, which is to expected and have some very colourful bruises curtesy of the (painful) prodding and poking by the doctor trying to find just the right spot! I know your condition means your health won't improve but I do hope you're at least getting some respite/better days. Big hugs and take care xx

Hello Polly, it sure was good to hear from you. We are doing fine. Sadye had to have a couple skin tags removed a few weeks, she kept getting the one ripped a bit, the other one was in between her little toe beans, and licked at is constantly, so we had them removed. She is doing fine. I will be taking her back in a few weeks to do her 6 month blood draw to check her liver and kidney values again. Praying it is at least stable. If not she said she would want to do an ultrasound so I'm praying for stable. I sure hate to hear that you are struggling with the injections. Just try to rest while you can, grateful the doctor was able to manage you to be off. I sure wish too that you could find something that would allow you to work from home. I think that would make a big difference for you. Continued below...

Glad Hugo is doing well. I know what you mean about our fur babies and how the years go by so fast. Sadye will 12 in October. Not much going here. Ed has gotten most of the garden in, we will be doing a lot of canning this year. So once it is all in I will have to make sure it stays watered. It was good to hear from you. Take care dear friend. Stay safe....rest you need to and take one day at a time. Give that handsome Hugo ear scritches, tummy rubs and lots of love from us. Sending prayers, love and hugs.....write when you can it is always good to hear from you don't fret if you aren't up to it.
