Sorry, *Vet thinks* not things.

Shadow is virtually his old self now. Vet things and I do too, that he probably jumped down from somewhere or accidently fell and injured himself. They gave him a painkiller and sold me something to give him for next 5 nights. I tried it in his food first night, just sniffed a few times and wouldn't eat anything. The day after he was starting to walk a bit more normally. He'd been favouring his right leg prior. I had to coach him to jump up on my recliner, while "we" watched TV for a couple of night. Also picked him to put him on the bed at night. A couple of nights ago, he woke me up with screaming. I found him on the floor, not sure if he fell off the bed, he's never fallen off before. He didn't seem to be hurt, so put him back and he's been okay ever since. If you know anyone that needs a bottle of pain killers, I've got some.....I think possibly the pain killer they gave him by injection, was enough to give whatever was wrong, time to heal/get better. x

I don't know what is wrong with my little boy, Shadow. Normally he's pretty active. He spends a lot of time jumping up on the lounge or lounge chairs and sitting on the top surveying the lounge room, or up on the bed, keeping watch out the bedroom window. About 4 days ago in the afternoon, I gave both dogs a piece of Duck skin (a normal treat for them) Shadow usually takes it into the bedroom or spare room to eat. Later I noticed he was walking around slowly with his tail just hanging down, whereas it's normally wagging and if I speak to him, it really ups the wag. No wagging even when I spoke to him. He was just wandering, like he wasn't really "with it" Didn't touch his food. He didn't jump on any of the lounge furniture and that night I had to pick him and put him on the bed. He can get down but definitely not interested in jumping anywhere. Also the Doggy door, usually in and out as he pleases. Now I'm not sure if he's gone out at all by his self and when i open the door for him, he barks to come back. He did start eating a couple of nights ago with me feeding him and again last night. Twice, yesterday and this morning, when I went to move him while he was laying on the bed, he jumped and screamed. Something obviously hurts but both times, I touched him near his neck and towards his back legs. I was being very gentle with him, but I'm not sure exactly what part of him (both ends) I actually touched. I had a Docs appointment this arvo otherwise I would have tried to get into the Vet. I hadn't tried before because I just didn't have any idea what area the problem was. I'll see how he is by Monday morning. I'm wondering if the piece of Duck, has hurt a tooth or his mouth, making it sore. I have given him other treats since, breaking them up into smaller bits and he's fine with them. Oh, by the way, his tail is wagging  quite a lot now, especially when I speak to him. P.S. you might be getting the rain too but at least your temperature is high 20s, ours is low 20s or just under. Not much I can do about it, except complain. 😉😂😂

Earlier, I wasn't going to jinx our weather by telling you we had a completely blue sky, not a clous in sight but icy. Didn't have to bother, now I can hardly see any blue at all. 🙁
I have been to most places of interest on the way from Perth to Albany, I would definitely have been to Denmark. I remember the Valley of the Giants and Elephant Rocks (pretty sure there wasn't a tree top walk back then or I would have been up on it) Sun just appeared from behind the clouds. Think temp. is only supposed to be 13 or 15, can't remember. xx
