Hi Kathy, my daughter lives about an hour away & she had a doctor's appointment by us, so she stopped by on the 13th.  We got take out to celebrate Valentine's Day.  Joe is working a temp job (he is retired) & he worked on Valentine's Day.  He picked up flowers on the way home at the supermarket.  I can't have candy because of the sugar.  Just the dark chocolate, which doesn't taste very good.  That's okay, I don't need the calories.  It's getting a little warmer here.  It's still cold but not as bad.  I had a bone density scan a long time ago.  It's an easy test.  I'm supposed to get another.  I wonder what the point is?  I guess they tell you to take more calcium.  I'm watching the Lord of the Rings again.  I love those books & the movies.  I always want to go to New Zealand to see where it was filmed.  It looks so beautiful there.  I hope everything is good with your tests.  April will be here before you know it.  Take care.

I felt like a block of ice 🥶

I’ve been doing the same with fairyland and going back to fill in animals I haven’t spotted/attracted. Have been working on babies which also helps get rid of all the gemstones on the shelves. Fairytales are another. I think I have the last two levels? Of course topiaries. I’m only on the second level of that. Stayed up way too late last night trying to to get a silly unicorn. Taking a break today I think so I’m not sure if I’ll get the next plate this round either. Would like to finish the pond and already have the RFH mushroom for the last level. I’ll have to see what I feel up to.

Your group sounds like fun. I agree on the movie choice. I’d like see Hamnet but seems more like a movie I’d watch on a rainy day. The trailer of Wuthering Heights to me makes it seem perfect for the big screen. Maybe you can convince her for another time or go on your own? How often does your group meet?

As far as my hair stylist she is pretty stupid and I believe bitter over her failed marriage, politics also plays a part though I’ve never come out directly and said what side I’m on. I’ve never been fully all in n one side of the fence and have criticized the ones I do like when they’ve done something I disagree with. She had issue with me because I wore a mask during Covid. I’ve always been susceptible to colds and in 2010 I got something that at times I wished I wouldn’t wake up it was so bad. Did not want to go through that again at this age. A number of neighbors died so I wore a mask to my appointment. This was used during one of her comments to another stylist in the salon while she was doing my hair. She thought it was a big joke.
