The Purple Poppy
I'm not sure that you knew;
That there is a purple poppy too;
It's one you wear beside the red;
For the animals who's blood was shed;
Many animals and birds gave their all;
Here is just a few that I can recall;
Cats in trenches kept rats down;
Dogs warned if strangers were around;
Pigeons carried messages to and fro;
Horses died with soldiers we all know;
And so the purple poppy that some now wear;
Is to remember the help they all gave there;
I decided to write this poem for you;
That we remember all them too.

Yes, I imagine it is very difficult
finding a good workman when
you need one ~ Just one more
benefit in apartment living ~ It's
the Management Company's
responsibility to dispatch a
worker to me when I report the
need ~ We are quite blessed to
have 2 very good handymen in
their employ and they reach out
to other specialties when the
demand is over their heads
(electricians, plumbers, etc.)
Hope you're enjoying what's

the snowfall is at least pretty :)

Hi Tricia, quick update, hubby doing well with the decorating, our youngest came to help . He moved the furniture and fridge/freezer, he even dit some of the high up cutting in on the walls. Fitted new door handles and light switches. So tomorrow it is putting everything back in place, then he will grout the tiles, and l can do a bit of cleaning up of all the surfaces. Hopefully l will be back playing properly on Tuesday. Take care Hun, l hope you can get a good electrician soon xx

I hope the snow looks lovely and isn't too bad. Hope you're having a good Sunday We went to the remembrance service .Frank was in the parade with his beavers group. They looked very smart.Dixie has gone home now Rachel and Isla picked him up this afternoon. He was good company . They said the bonfire and firework display was good at the caravan site yes it was for g Guy Fawkes

Ty for spotting my Golden Dragon Tricia, Doctor knocked a tablet off, and doubled one of his others, just to give it a week or so to see if any improvement at all, found a White mouse ty Tricia, I think with Doctors it's a case of trial and error, still looking forward to bed tonight and  get snuggled in to bed, is it still snowing now and the big White  fluffy snow sound lovely,  have a great Evening and it's TRUE, good job Anne didnt come and possibly get stuck, we have had our Flu jabs  any protection is better than none, love and hugs xxx
