a cloudy afternoon hello, Kimalisa, and a splash! I hope the storms have moved on so Bessie can relax. the kitty boys send her, and you comforting snuggles while I'm sending her many many calming ear rubs! ha! I'm also doing laundry (just one load today). it's in the dryer, mostly towels. as for dishes I never really have that many, but I do wash up breakfast dishes every day.  been in a kind of quiet mood since the 4th so yes, reading. right now I'm reading Barbara Davis' The Echo of Old Books. have not read anything by her before, and it's interesting. a woman who owns a rare-books store has a gift of picking up on the feelings of previous book owners when she touches certain books.  ahh! the sun is peeking out! left-overs for dinner tonight. Hi Kimalisa I hope your day is going well.
