a quiet afternoon hello, Kimalisa, and a splash! it's nearing sunset, and so the "extra sun" is appreciated. and, cold, oh yes! 8F is the high for today. Dresden is now curled up in his bed so sends sleepy snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie more ear rubs. my son posted pictures from a run today (can't tell if it was a marathon or not), and they're all wearing hats and jackets. it's 48 in Dallas; they certainly feel the cold more than we do here. 😊 so after saying I haven't written anything in years? I sat down this afternoon to write in my journal about a dream I had last night, and found myself writing a poem I titled "Sisters". it felt good, it felt right. the thing is I have come to peace with the silence, and the stillness within me. anyways! take care, and keep warm. hugs! xoxo 🎄❤️
