It's much warmer here too x we had beautiful sunshine early on but it's clouding over now x the boys have been really depressed during all the rain x just moping around x but they seem much happier now they can run about x

Good evening Jeannie and I phoned a plumber about my gas fires and my shower. He came to see my shower today and gave me advice on another shower. Will get an estimation to  me in the near future. Will be very pleased. I have been having baths but do find it difficult to get out of the bath. It has been a fine and sunny day here but a bit windy, which was rather chilly. I did go out for a walk and bumped in to my older brother, and had a natter for a wee time. I also did my ironing and put the clothes away. Monday sprinkles after a rather lazy weekend.
Well, it has been looking at me saying please clean me...the Burner, that is 😆 so dutifully cleaned and now burning bright again with a pair of eyes watching me...yes, Murdo of course!
He has decided that the Range isn't as warm as sitting right in front of the Burner. I took a very quick iPhone picture but although not brilliant, will put it on my Facebook homepage later...
Have moved the Logs and kindling to a safer place...little by little to preserve my old back and the coal now moved too...carefully.
Little jobs to do before Asda arrive...at least they have a clear entrance hall so won't be going "A over T" with my shopping 😆😆

Good evening Jeannie and it was fine this morning and walked to Tesco's, mind you since my fall I find I have slowed down such a lot. I also did my washing, and put some outside on the line, then about 10 minutes later I had to dash and bring it all in as it was pouring down, and continued to rain all afternoon. So it is all on the clothes airer. Mags visited this afternoon. I was going to show her letter telling me about getting 25p a week extra at the end of the year when I will be 80. I do think this is stupid. What can you buy for this amount. Sending you my very best wishes and lots of love and warming hugs. xx
