PS I have a couple of pairw of UGG boots that Ibought 15 years ago...they last forever and truly are comfy...no need for socks with the fleece..I always feel like Nanook of the North when I wear them. LOL   I need one more pelican to complete my easy quest.  stinkers are dodging me....why oh why do I torture myself?  LOL  ox

Hello, my lovely I know what you mean about the weather..one minute here it is 80 deegrees and the next day it is 39 degrees...I dont think I am going to have any plants left after this...they are dying left and right....I am too nervous about bringing them in as I have no idea what creatures are living in the dirt...probably the frogs from hell.  LOL Well, I am seeing my podiatrist next week as this blood blister on the big toe is not healing and a new development is a black and blue mark, like a circular  shape appeared and then disappeared and now have an area that is a light bluish color...I thinkthis is vascular and that is a bit disturbing tome asit is blood under the skin.not sure what the heck that is.  th blister is from all the running I do every day, but starting next week when I gointo physical therapy for my back, I am cuttingthe days down to 3 each week for at least two weeks to see if it makes any difference. Its always something, isnt it? I'm sorry you are having those issues as well...hope it is better now. We had a lot of gilets on sale at the store, believe it?  This has been a colder than usual winter here...they were marked down to $3 each..the colors were black, beige and bright orange...nothing as pretty as the colors you had to choose from. Well. those maintenance people came today..only to get into the AC unit, had nothing to do with looking to see what else needed replacing but maybe because I told them I had to get ready to go out, but allhe did was spray something behind the air filter in the unit and he put two white balls of something in the unit.  He did not speak much English so I didnt ask what it was but something is going on.  maybe That isn't fixing something in my  eyes, it is more like preventing something from getting in but what? I know a couple of years ago, they had a problem with rats...this complex was built on land that was basically  forest so as meticulous as they are with the grounds some were living in the shrubs adjacent to the golf course and they brought in a major exterminator but we still have lots of squirrels that they have to keep at a low population cuz they too multiply like rabbits,  I just don't know what it is.  They aren't going to tell us either, I am sure.  My first visit with physical therapy is next week and then seeing the podiatrist.  I will of course, let you know how it goes.  those are my exciting events LOL...I hope you pick a lovely place for your vacation.  I am not watching too much news as it is too depressing.  I saw a headline saying they want tobeef up the surveiloance of all citizens here..what? I feel sorry for the younger generations...I am grateful to have lived during a time when we really felt free as human beings..it is turning AI rapidly and it is  irresponsible  in that they dont know what may result...pushing humans to the side. I just thought of something that I had wanted to ask you.  Did you ever see the movie, The Notebook?  It was really good but really sad.  About a woman with Alzheimer's. 

I started reading my MC Beaton's books again.  I love Agatha Raisin but am going to start reading Hamish Macbeth again.  I don't like being stuck at home.  I like to be able to go to the stores or for a walk.  Grateful I have a home to shelter in but can't wait for Spring. How are things by you?  Do you have a draft there?  If we get involved with a war in Iran, would your government draft people?  Right now we don't have a draft but don't know what will happen.  We have a war on the southern border & now Iran.  The world is in a sad state.  Don't mean to be depressing.  Guess I'm home to much.  Did you see my post about AI?  Katie used to watch a series called The 100.  The Earth was destroyed because AI decided to get rid of humanity.  I forget why but some reason like we are bad for the environment.  AI thinking for itself was far fetched in the realm of the future.  Now we have AI writing posts, on it's own, to identify someone who is prejudiced against AI.  Can you imagine!  It's almost funny. 

Have you been following the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping?  Some weird things.  Like the sheriff called off the search & rescue after only 24 hours.  Megyn Kelly just said that.  Are you concerned that we might get pulled into a war with Iran?  I'm hoping that the support won't be boots on the ground.  I heard that Trump put pressure on Mexico to stop the cartels & the president of Mexcio said she doesn't want the US there.  That's okay with me.  We got two feet of snow (0.610 meters) maybe more on the way.  Yesterday nobody was allowed on the roads except emergency vehicles.  My sister in NY got half the amount of snow we did.  Her daughter-in-law was at work (she's a nurse) and the snow plow hit her car & took the bumper off.  She has a white car & they are thinking it blended in with the snow.
