Cece and I had supper together today (carryout burgers and fries). they also showed me a beautiful sunset over water drawing they had been working on this afternoon. air quality is better today, but it's warmer at 28C. centre? Aside from stepping out onto the
patio to water my basket, I stayed in
today ~ Didn't want to cause damage to
my lungs after having spent sometime
out at the pool with Julian yesterday ~
They didn't charge me for the repair
last time that I brought my car in, as
it was still covered under warranty ~

Yes, Marguerite, our power was restored about 830, we were without 5 hrs. I had lights ready, but we didn't need them.
I made it with my phone as well. I was playing Fairyland, haha.
I'm staying caught up (for now) I try to get to sprinkles before bed also, but usually fail, lol.
More storms today, Bess did better, we were both home. She went between us.

Walking must be real nice with Pippin.
Got to get Bessie to the vet soon, D can walk with us. Hopefully it won't be bad as usual. She loves the staff, not the place :)

Hi Marguerite, lovely to hear that you met up with an old friend and had a good catch up. I don't blame you for staying home with Pippin in this heat. I managed to sleep alright considering, hopefully tonight will be the same. I don't leave windows open at night in case spiders come in lol. It most certainly has been very hot this last couple of days.  I refrain from going outside and stay in the house where it is cool.  We did however go to a BBQ yesterday and thankfully we were seated in an area under a really big gazebo beneath trees, so it weas relatively cool.  We had a great time and raised a good deal for charity.  Malc has just taken my sister nephew & his wife back to Fleet, so just Bonnie here with me.  I put a line of washing out earlier and there is another in the machine which should get out later.  The aftermath of having visitors!  They were very good and did a number of jobs for Malcolm for which we are extremely grateful.  Malc has been walking Bonnie either early a.m. or in the evening much as you have been doing with Pippin;  even missed a day or so it was so hot.  Look after yourself and we return the cuddles to Pippin that you sent to Bonnie.  Love, hugs & blessings for you all  🤗🤗🐾🐾🦋🌹💕
