a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! glad to hear it's cooled down for you, and that you and Pippin had a lovely walk today. it's cooled down here, too...after we had a stormy afternoon. so, no Ellie today, and no ice cream. (Mamas decided to keep her home as we had tornado watches.) I'm hoping I can get her from summer camp tomorrow. first, though, I have an appointment to get my troubleson tire checked. the kitty boys are settling in for the night, and send drowsy snuggles to you, and to Pippin. Yes! Bessie had a storm-free day yesterday! No storms today until tonight, she's in the bedroom hiding with daddy. He's got the lights off and TV on, and she's under his walker. He pets her. She's doing great.
D's banana fig bread was delicious! He added dried cherries and pecans. We ate it in two days, hahaha.
Must've been nice working in the garden, Pippin keeping you company.

Morning Marguerite,yesterday was quite warm here too warm for me , got some more washing done , picked some rhubarb put tge bins out then sorted my art stuff I found what I was working on last time some hand painted Christmas cards so I’m goi g to finish them off today I’d firgotton about them so they will add to my stock  when finished. Think it has forecast more rain today just hope I get there and back in the dry , looking forward to seeing everyone xx

from 34 degrees yesterday to 16 degrees
today ~ The humidity is at 93%, so I am
running the AC from time to time ~ We
expect below average temps through
Tuesday of next week and I am fine with
that ~ On the bright side, the hot weather
will be coming to an end in the not-too-
distant future ~ Our air quality has
improved and I am grateful ~ I hope
