Hi Susan,  Yes the scan was ok. They were checking bone density.  It only took about 10 minutes.  Have another scan due in 2 weeks time to check my liver.  Hope that's no worse.
The following week I have a telephone appointment with my Rheumatoid arthritis consultant.

Hello Susan, it was supposed to rain on the day of the funeral, that would have topped the whole day off, but thankfully sun was out and no rain.
It's day 3 of a Low Residue diet in preparation for my colonoscopy Friday. I've been living on cornflakes and tinned Apricots and crumpets. Not a great lot of things I'm allowed or they're things I don't like. I'm allowed to eat cream, so I've cheated a bit and put dollops of cream on my cornflakes and apricots....one of my favourite dishes. I just noticed a Post you put up about 3 days ago, saying that Sam and his girlfriend had turned up on a surprise visit. How wonderful for you and even had Gemma and Charlie there for Colin's Birthday, lovely memories for you and Colin to hold onto. x🧡x

Hello Susan, thank you for your kind messages. I think I'm still in denial about the whole thing. No service in a church, just at the grave sit. She didn't want it to be advertised anywhere, even the fact that she had passed. There was her grandson, he was so wonderful and did so much for her, Her two sons, one (her youngest) she didn't want him there, he broke her heart many years ago. The other son had his son there and that would have been to make sure he wasn't fogotten in her Will. Her grandson's mother, a friend of her oldest son who passed away about 7 years ago and myself and my son and one friend. Also a Catholic priest. She'd wanted an Irish priest that was at her son's funeral, he was lovely but he had passed away, so she ended up with a Mexican priest, thankfully he spoke English not that I could tell you what he said. So very sad It just didn't feel real even though the white coffin sat  on top of the grave site for us to stare at. I just couldn't imagine her being in it. Very sad day.  🌺🌺🌺 I'm off to the movies now. xxx

Am really trying to be brave for tomorrow. I too have always been sedated for a tooth extraction. But at the time everyone was out of town so I have to drive myself home. Novacaine and laughing gas, that what I get. I’m such a wimp.
