Good morning Janet. We broke a record yesterday. It got up to 94 degrees. The high was 93. It's 78 right now and very muggy. There is rain on the radar and is very dark and gloomy. We saw the international space station fly over last night.
We ve seen it before. It's very cool to watch, it travels pretty fast. I hope you have a great day 💜

I've made great strides with the puzzle and should finish it tomorrow, depending on when the car is ready. My friend Jill, when took me to the funeral, phoned to see if I needed her to take me shopping tomorrow or Saturday. I thought it was so kind of her to offer. I'm hoping it won't be necessary and will phone her when I know when the car will be ready.

The lemon pie sounds delicious and a good idea to make enough dough for 2.

I've been going through my 'to do' list and have written the thankyou cards for my birthday presents. I'm looking at a wicker hamper on Amazon to store some things in. I better not order it until Monday as it could arrive Saturday when I'm out. I hope it's still there by then. I may phone Tessa as she has Amazon prime and that way it should be delivered the next day.

Hi Janet, it's been another wet day with temps of about 60, in other words miserable. I did pull a few weeds up between the showers but I'm thinking if I do too much Alan will be looking for a job. I've noticed that Paul's gutter must be blocked as the water is pouring over the edge and running down his wall. When Alan comes on Monday I'll get him to take a look, that will give him a job.

I've still not heard from the double glazing people, I'll have a look on line for another company.

Sue phoned this morning to see if I was alright. She had noticed that the car was missing and had wondered if I was in hospital. I explained about the car being repaired and Ian said when it's fixed he'll take me to the garage to collect it. I appreciate that as I won't need to wait on a taxi.
