Hi Dianne Sorry to hear you had major surgery! I was wondering where you were! Great to here your recovering well! WE have not plant anything yet & need to go shopping for some plants but we have tons of stuff coming up from last year! Bridget's been helping me Fix up the gardens getting pots ready for planting once we get our plants! Pulling weeds & major cleaning up so much to be done here thank God I have her because I'm not able to do much! She is helping me walk long distances every day 2-3 times each day! I wish you a speedy recovery! Love & Hugs coming  your way!xoxoxo

Hi Dianne, sorry to hear you had to have surgery - was that something planned? I'm glad to hear you're OK and are starting to get out and about again. Mark's been planting some tomato plants and erecting a framework around them to protect them from the wind, and he's also sown some spinach, radishes, chard and some herbs. Most of the flowers in our garden naturally reproduce so don't require much planting. It's been exceptionally dry here recently, so he's having to water certain things every evening. We've run out of water in our water butts so we're praying for rain! (I bet that sounds funny to you - I think you say 'rain barrel', haha!) It sounds as if you've got all the rain that we need. Let's do a swap!
Hope you're fully recovered soon. xx

Hi, Dianne!  Stopping by this evening!  xx

How fun to have skunks running around the garden at night! Do you have hedgehogs? I can't remember! We've now only got one hedgehog at the rescue - all the others have been released and are doing well as far as we know. It's good that you keep Lizzy on the leash. The hedgehog we have at the moment was possibly bitten by a dog :-(.
Best of luck with your topiaries. There's a very good thread in the 'Most Useful Topics' section of the forums, which tells you everything you need to know. I'll try to help if I can!
Enjoy your weekend xx

I'm glad to hear the guinea piglets are keeping you busy!
How very satisfying to have got the garden furniture out and cleaned ready for the summer! Our days here are mixed, but the nights are still quite cold, brrr. I can't wait for warmer weather! xx

Hello Dianne! That sounds so lovely, going to see the girls in their musical and feeling so proud and happy for them!
I hope you enjoy your flowers, seeds and the guinea pigs over the Easter weekend.
Easter is a bit of a non-event for me because I worked at Prickles today and I have editing work to do on Monday. But I'll be able to relax tomorrow and meet up with a good friend on Sunday.
How exciting to have skunks! We don't have them in the UK. At the rescue the numbers of hedgehogs has gone down from 65 to 7, because we've released so many! I hope they all do really well back out in the wild.
Have a lovely Easter and talk soon! xx

Hi Dianne, I love all the insects in your garden. Good for the birds! I'm happy to hear that you're a bird nerd, because I am too! How lovely to have a stream at the end of your garden, and to see a kingfisher too. We had a hedgehog on our wildlife camera last night :-). We currently have 65 hogs at the rescue but about two thirds of those should be released this weekend :-D. They've been cooped up inside for months now, so they'll be so happy to be back out in nature. When I go in next week the hospital will look very empty!
I love your little teddy bear sunflower by the way. xx

Hi Dianne, I'm relieved to hear that all is well - I was getting worried! I hope you had a nice break. Enjoy Annie Jr. on Friday. It's great that the girls have so many interests and are really throwing themselves into life! They sound like an inspiration for all young people.
What line of work is Ed in? What a shame he couldn't take Caroline to Spain with him. That would have been fun for them.
Easter in FL is lovely, isn't it? You missed me doing most of my Easter bunnies, chicks and seahorses. Now I'm trying to mend all my nests!
We've had beautiful weather here for the last week or more. Yesterday afternoon we had all the family round and we sat outside in the garden all afternoon. My nose is slightly pink from the sun, oops! Hope you've got nice weather too. xx
