Hi, Dianne!  Happy Birthday to Charlotte and Claire (early).  Ah, to be 13 again...maybe.  ;)  My Mother was a bookkeeper when working.  She was good with figures her entire life, never getting into debt.  Me, on the other hand, hated bookkeeping class.  I was more the secretarial material.  Loved typing and shorthand.  :)  Never had a chance to use shorthand.  My boss at my first job (Wheeler-Kight, and Gainey, Inc., Advertising....used a machine to dictate...and I listened to the recording to type.  Yikes...it was miserable when he would say "change that" mid-sentence.  I'm working on a Wasgij puzzle now.  It is a 2-puzzle puzzle.  The first one replicates the puzzle on the box cover, and the second one shows what happens next...chaos!  LOL  They are fun to do!  A friend sends me these every Christmas.  I send her a jigsaw, too!  :)  Randy ate this morning first thing, so that worry is gone.  Trash men are collecting at the moment, so he's on the move doing a tiny bark.  Take care & be careful in the snow.  I saw a hot air balloon in the sky first thing this morning.  :)  Have a great day!  xxx

Have you still got snow? That's very festive. We've just got endless rain and wind, but it's still quite mild - not very Christmassy at all :-(. I'm quite late buying all my presents etc as usual, and I'm still not feeling very well, but I'm muddling on! All the best for all your celebrations xx

Hi, Dianne!  If that SOMEONE is you....a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY is wished.  :)  Oh, to be 73 again.  Pizza sounds really good for a celebration.  We are going to have a high of 64 today.  Warm up.  Believe it or not the leaves are still hanging on the trees waiting for the next high wind, I suppose.  Randy is being ornery today.  He gave me a "look" when I snipped the ear off of his new toy lamb.  Well, there wasn't much left of it, and I'm here to keep him safe.  He's over it now after finding out it still sails through the air just the same.  ;)  Hi to Lizzy and Randy says "woof"!  xxx

Hi Dianne, how are you? I've had a really heavy cold for the last week, and I'm still feeling very congested :-(.
Christmas is suddenly almost upon us and I've done nothing in preparation! Time to try to crank myself into gear, groan...
I'm desperately trying to complete my current topiary trail so I can relax and enjoy Xmas in FL.

Hello Dianne, I'm really glad to hear that Lizzy is happy to take her medication in some cream cheese! That's a huge relief for you.
I'm taking my mum and sister to see a film at the oldest continuously running cinema in England this afternoon. It opened in 1912, just after the Titanic disaster. It's fantastic inside, but Mum's never been, and I know she's going to love it! xx

Hello Dianne, I'm sorry to hear about Lizzy's hypothyroidism :-(. I hope giving the medication won't be too stressful for both you and Lizzy - or too expensive! We went through that with Millie, my cat. She had the opposite extreme, hyperthyroidism, but the result was the same - medication for the rest of her life. Luckily we found a way to give her pills in special putty that she happily took, otherwise it would have been impossible! So I do hope that aspect will be OK for you and Lizzy, and that she'll be able to live a normal life for a long time yet.
It's very mild here at the moment, and the leaves are beautiful colours, and dropping everywhere. We're getting lots of young hedgehogs in, who are too small to survive hibernation. We're fattening them up! xx

Hi, Dianne!  Have a nice day.  We can't get the Ohio State game out here today.  Whaaaaa!  Hope you have a nice Fall day there in Ohio!  We'll have 85 degrees today but it seems to be much cooler than that.  Right now it's only 61 degrees.  Hugs and kisses for Lizzy!  Randy's been playing catch with his toy mouse!  Have only had to sew it once so far.  LOL  xx

Hi Dianne, how are you? We've just come back from a week's holiday in Pembrokeshire in south Wales. We stayed in a gorgeous little cottage with a log burner and a hot tub! It was so cosy in the evenings, and we spent our days walking the beautiful Welsh coast path. The scenery is lovely there, and it was a refreshing break for our souls!

I'll say a prayer for Lizzy and hope all goes well tomorrow.  Not sure how Randy would be at a groomer.  I brush him but trimming his nails with that "grinder" is a trip.  Don holds him and it's usually the front paws and the dew claw.  Yes, they left it on.  Another claw to fuss with.  Thinking of you and hope all goes well.  xxx
