Happy New Year to you both! It was a quiet New Years for us as well. Has been for many years. Gone are the days when we would go family parties that went on ‘til dawn. Couldn’t do it any more 😂 We see the NY in then bed. There were very little fireworks let off after 12, thank goodness. Seems most people round here see the NY in then go to bed. I went to bed at 1am and all around was in darkness. Well thats it for another year. A few more days and I’ll be putting the Christmas stuff away. My daughter phoned me before, she’s back in Portsmouth now, she braved the cold weather to take a walk down to the front. Very bracing! It was lovely and sunny here today but very cold and windy. We just sat around eating rubbish and watching rubbish on t.v I’m hoping to get out tomorrow, for a bit of fresh air, don’t really want anything but you never know what you come across when you don’t have anything particular in mind. Enjoy the rest of the evening and here’s wishing you and the family peace, love and health in 2026!
