I've not done much all day, my hip was playing up and it was probably because I walked nearly 10000 steps yesterday. I find if I rest a day it tends to feel better by the following day.

I did a couple of loads of laundry and got them line dried, caught up on some recorded programmes, vacuumed through, did the grass and selected a Wasjig to sort. At the moment it's still in the box on my board and I'll do that tomorrow.

I love that Don hasn't given up on his hope to find the big one with his detector, maybe I could send Alan over to accompany him, he's still waiting to hear what his latest find is. It has to be reported to the Finds Liaison Officer as he thinks it's from the 1400's. I'll enjoy telling him I know a man who goes detecting for gold. I won't say he's not found the mother load yet, that would spoil the story. Ha ha

Hi Janet it's been better today, 70 with 82% humidity. I even cut the grass and pulled a few weeds, I really should leave them for Alan but some were getting so big and I don't want them to seed or I'll be over run. Tomorrow should be much the same then it's going up to to 85 by Wednesday. We're still under the amber warning for high temps and I can only suppose by then it will be a red one. I was right Daryn didn't need to go to Tenerife to get the sun and it would have been cheaper. LOL

Nick has internet problems and I have land line phone ones. I have 2 handsets and only one is working. Now I have to decide do I buy anymore as it's only a matter of time before they do away with them. I do know that most people I know only use a mobile including Sam. I'm thinking to carry on with just one to see when they will be obsolete. 'They' are saying it will be January next year, we'll see.
