I was just going to say...that I would be exiting stage left in a couple minutes. Thanks for the chat...

I have a twin brother...so most people do not realize that we are twins...which is fine. Now strangely...shortly after we were married, we were invited to a party...it was a house party and they were dishing up a spaghetti dinner. There were four of us there who were twins..fraternal twins. What are the odds? One couple were both twins...and they wondered if there would be increased odds of them having twins...but they had two single births.
I was kind of hoping for twins myself...knowing that there is a special connection...which is hard to explain really. Almost like an ESP...a special sense.

I have a twin..so both of us were rather special to be honest. I was a surprise...and we were the first set of twins for our family doctor...so we got bonus points. Hahaha.
Two very good friends have seasonal birthdays...one has hers on Boxing Day(Dec. 26...a holiday here) and the other has hers on New Years Day. We always moan about them...hahaha.

Hahaha...come pee on my hydrant any time. My neighbour used to call those messages...pee mail...as our dog would leave love notes for hers.

My real birthday is December 25th...and most people toss in a happy birthday on a Christmas card...and who is going to come to a party on Christmas...someone else usurps my birthday...I wonder who it is? Hahahaha. Normally would go out for lunch but with the smoke...will abandon that idea...and grab a lunch out on Saturday when we are in the city going to a Doors Open event which allows people into various homes and buildings for free...

I thought that it had gotten better...when I arose there was not the yellow cast...and I could see faint bits of sky...but there is a breeze and it seems to have blown in more smoke and now it is quite thick...and the smell..horrible. Reminds me of the pulp and paper factory...
Not going anywhere...no wheels as car is being painted...we spotted a little bubble of paint and figured...fix it now before it gets worse. My yoga class in a couple hours is via zoom so that works just fine.
Today is my Royal birthday...one that I picked in my twenties to celebrate my birthday...I was so out of it...not knowing the date...that when my husband wished me a happy birthday I thought that he was crazy. Hahaha

I remember you saying that you were a Michigan girl...my neighbour. I lived in southwestern Ontario at that time so only a couple hours drive from the border.

Now I have to wonder if kids are traumatized by protocol if there is a shooter in a school? I know that the actions that we were taught scared me back then...so I have no doubt that sensitive kids would be affected. I have no idea if they do drills like for fire drills?
Years ago I enrolled in a belly dancing class held at the high school in the evenings. We were instructed as to what to do if there was a  shooter in the school...the idea was...to barricade oneself in the lockers in the other side of the auditorium. We were expected to sign a form saying that we agreed to the terms. I refused to sign...saying that I would take my chances and exit by the rear door next to the lockers instead of being a sitting duck in a locker...and besides...an adult fitting in a locker? I almost was denied attending the classes.

My only nightmare as a kid..and has recurred as an adult...was during the Cold War...and we had to be timed to see how long it took to get home from school...to our bomb shelters...and  how to hide under our desks in the event of an attack(fallout from an attack on the US as we did not live that far from the border with Michigan).
