Good afternoon Janet. We just got home from a graduation party, and boy was it hot out there. They had tents set up and there were a few big trees to offer shade. There was a slight breeze every now and then but I was glad when Larry asked if I was ready to leave. I’m going to say a hard no to the camel spiders. I’m not a fan of any spider…or snakes. We see snakes at camp from time to time. They are just garter snakes but some get quite big…yuk. There was a clip on our local news yesterday of a ring camera capturing a very large cat…like a tiger large right here in Rochester which is about an hour away…yikes. Could be a cougar, bobcat or any large cat for that matter. I haven’t heard any updates on it. I hope you are enjoying your day 💜

I got home late in the afternoon and set about what I thought were the last couple of boxes. I also needed to get the things I'd stored out in my shed and unfortunately when I got in there I realized there were 2 more boxes of books. Not to worry I think the Samaritans shop should reopen on Monday. They moved to new premises and weren't taking donations, well I now have 2 boxes of books and a box of assorted 'things' to donate and then I'll be rid of most of the clutter. I even managed to get all the remaining empty boxes into my rubbish bin. I've decided I'm getting too old for all this hassle all I really want is a quiet life!

I'm going out in the morning as Sheila wants a small security box that is a special offer like the trikes. It should be in store tomorrow and since she no longer drives I'll need to be up and about early to get it for her. Then I intend to do some of the puzzle and put my feet up.

Hi Janet, it makes you think they were joking when they said you'd not seen a doctor. Don't they know how many times you've tried, it's ridiculous.

I've been to see Sheila again today and would you believe the twins were there again. This time Sheila's son, their grandad, was about and they adore him. They bought me some flowers, well Anna their mum did, but she said they were from the children because we got them the trikes. They'd made a special trip there because they knew I'd be coming, I thought that was really sweet. I think Sheila loves to have them but at 86 finds them very tiring as she can't have a nap in the middle of the afternoon, bless her she wouldn't be without them.
