Tomorrow morning I'm meeting up with Gwen, she was ordering a special nail file for herself and got one for auntie too. Once that's wrapped auntie's presents will be complete. In the afternoon I'm seeing my cousin Christine and hubby, Malcolm. He had an operation on his toe 4/5 weeks ago and it's not healed yet and she's very worried. They've just had a few days away so I hope he managed to drive OK as she gave up a couple of years ago so wouldn't be any help.

Mark the roofing guy sent a message to say if it's OK with me he'll come on Thursday morning to do the shed roof. Fingers crossed the rain will hold off as the forecast is a bit iffy.

Sorry the arthritis is playing u again, unfortunately there's not much to do other than Aleve or pain patch.

Hi Janet, I'm glad you survived the trip. When I was married we occasionally went through London on or way to the south coast and I would close my eyes as we hit the traffic and only open them when we were through the city, I hated it. I used to drive to Norwich with a population of about 150,000 but that was in the past, I don't even want to drive at night. Mike and Carole came and I mentioned going to Sam's on Monday evening and they both said they wouldn't do it. I don't really want to go but the girls don't understand how blinding the lights on other cars are to this poor oldie.

It was lovely to see Mike and Carol and her mum, Valda, came too. She's 93 next week, a bit deaf but still lives alone next door to Mike and Carol cooks for her and generally keeps an eye on her. She loves a jigsaw too, my kind of person.
