While Life Moves On
The world keeps spinning, days unfold,
Yet here I stand, in shadows cold.
The sun still rises, skies still gleam,
But I am trapped within a dream.
The clock hands turn, the seasons shift,
The earth delivers nature's gift.
But time for me feels slow, confined,
A restless loop within my mind.
Laughter echoes, streets alive,
While I just struggle to survive.
Their steps move forward, sure, and bold,
While mine are frozen, worn, and old.
The wind whispers, "Let go, be free,"
But all I hold is memory.
Though life insists on marching through,
My heart stays tethered, bound to you.
Perhaps one day, when skies are clear,
I'll find the strength to meet the year.
Until that time, I’ll simply wait,
A witness to life's hurried gait.
