Hope the wind is over for you. We still have a lot of wind here. The 2 hurricanes blew the leaves off our crape myrtle tree. Our rivers are all in flood stage and the water is still rising. No tumbleweeds but lots of dead marsh grass floating over our green grass.  It's raining now and is almost cold. Florida winter coming early - haha

We had a lot of rain so I finished the puzzle and will take a pic in daylight. Maggie phoned to say she'd have to delay her next visit as her hubby has to go for a flu jab on the day she was coming and as he can't drive at the moment due to his knee surgery so she'll have to take him. He's not recovering well and went back to see the surgeon who said it was to be expected as they took the old replacement out to fit this new one. As she'll still come a few days later I'll not rush to go and see her, it sounds like she has enough to worry about with his problems.

Tomorrow may be drier so fingers crossed the gardener will come. I'm hoping if he does he'll either clear the guttering on my conservatory or spray my garden shed before the winter. He says he'll do both, but when was not mentioned!!

Hi Janet, Randy's a clever dog, he does his I'm poorly bit and you give him a lovely treat then he eats his proper dinner. I have to admit I'd do exactly the same as you, worry, give him something nice and be grateful he eats it anything!
Daryn is still about today and he has Ted the little terrier type dog that belongs to his 'lady' friend. He tells me they are now just friends and not in a relationship. I spoke with him for a few minutes late this morning while he was walking the dog and he asked if I'd seen Sue or Ian. We've had a letter about them applying to have a Air Source Heat Pump on their property. I don't know much about them but have heard they are noisy. Both D and I want to know where they intend to put it, we don't want it on the walkway side of their bungalow and he says whoever sees them first should ask! It's almost certain to be me so I hope they don't take offence but I'll not be happy if I have to see or hear it opposite my front window. Plus they also have someone staying there who's managed to partially block our drive for the last 2 days. D said he'd speak to them but I doubt it.
