I waited and waited and guess what the gardener didn't arrive. Next Monday instead of waiting I'll phone him to see if he's coming. Still while waiting I did get the puzzle finished and also did 3 loads of laundry and got it line dry. Later this afternoon I cut the grass and did the edges so the garden looked nice and tidy!

I'm still trying to finish my puzzle. There's one section in the middle that refuses to come together. I have 2 days left before I leave; I hope to be finished before then. I understand Maggie not wanting to leave..
Hope your gardner finishes before the rains begin. We had rain today but tomorrow promises sunshine. I'll need to drive into town tomorrow night so I hope the roads are dry - wet roads are hard to drive on at night.  Since I don't have a garden, I'll be buying some potted plants to give to my hosts next week - poinsettias are showing up in stores now.
