Good morning Janet, I have most of my Halloween decorations up already. I have a small pencil tree in my kitchen that I put up with no decorations on it. I put it up yesterday with a ghost for the topper and a Halloween skirt around the bottom. I just have to talk Larry into putting our giant skelly up and then I’m done with decorating. The kids are doing well in school. Liam has a sub while his teacher is out on maternity leave. He’s not fond of the sub. His teacher had her baby a few weeks before school started and she won’t be back until January. He hasn’t met her yet. They are having a little trouble with Alina…when they go outside for recess she runs off, it’s called elopement. They’ve sent emails home but I’m not sure what is being done. She also is taking other kids snacks at snack time if it looks appealing to her. She’s climbing and jumping off of desks. She’s in an inclusive class but I think she’s in the wrong setting altogether. She needs to be in a school that works solely with autistic children. She has an IEP but nothing is being done to utilize it. I tell my son that him and Alina’s mom have to seek out the help, it’s not going to come to them. It feels like most of what I suggest or say falls upon deaf ears. Makes me very sad. Layne is doing well and likes school. It’s a beautiful sunny day today, a bit cool but it really is beautiful!! Enjoy the football games 💜
