I managed to get in touch with Sam, unfortunately she's having a dreadful time with her infected gum. She had another appointment with a different dentist who gave her a different antibiotic but she's still in great pain. Tomorrow she should be speaking to the original dentist and hopefully she'll take it out. Poor girl was so worried they may stitch her gum but I've told her when I had my 2 teeth out in the last couple of years they just leave the gum to heal by itself.

I'm watching a new series of The Piano. They put a piano on railway stations and airports and get amateurs to play. Over the weeks the best will be selected and play at the Royal Albert Hall. The lad who won last year was self taught, couldn't read music and placed in care at 7 years old. He's 23 writes his own music and has now signed a recording contract and is amazing!

Hi Janet, it must be so difficult to know what to do about Randy's medicine, like you say he can't tell you what he's feeling.

It was nice this morning almost 60 but this afternoon it's been raining for the first time in ages. I did get the grass cut before it started and I cleaned about half of the conservatory windows. I suppose I should get in touch with Alan, the gardener, as it doesn't look like he'll be coming any time soon. MEN!

I went out for a while as I'd hoped to see my cousin Richard but I think he must be away on holiday as the house looked a bit deserted! As his house is very near the library I use next time I go there I'll see if he's a home.
