Sorry about the late post, sometimes during the day I write it on my back wall as I think of things then post it in the evening when I sit down, only I forgot to send it. I try not to spend too much time on here, if I sit down in the morning I can waste so much time I find it best to leave it until evening.

Vivien, the lady Maggie and I met on holiday was originally from Norfolk, about 50 miles or so away but she loved Scotland so much she relocated there just after our last holiday. She does live in care and usually stays a couple of weeks with a client while their family go on holiday. She loved the hotel we stayed in so much she considered working for them. I don't think staying in a place and working there would be quite the same. She told me that she'd applied but they turned her down as most of the other workers were very young and she wouldn't have fitted in. She still goes there on holiday as I see her posts on FB. and she comes down and stays nearby for a few weeks in the summer, I think she has relatives in this area.

Hi Janet, it's been a bit warmer today 72 with 90% humidity. I had lunch with my friends but several couldn't make it so there was only 4 of us. Still we enjoyed the food and stayed chatting for ages.

The car made it to the restaurant and to get the local paper and some milk.  I phoned Andrew this morning and asked if it could go in next week instead of waiting until the 28th. It's now going in on Tuesday for the week. I don't know what I'll be doing but think I there may be some puzzling going on!

Tomorrow I'm off to the church hall which should be fun as it's been weeks since I was last there, who knows there may even be some new puzzles. I must remember to take something for their weekly raffle.
