As for the parking it's not a problem as I'm in Daryn's spot as he's gone to Kath's for the week. He stopped by today to say he'll come by Wednesday to put his rubbish bins out and I said as I was doing Sue and Ian's I would put his out too. He seemed surprised, I don't think he used to people helping him out.

It seems odd that both he and Sue are away I'm beginning to feel abandoned. lol I think I've found out why Paul can be so odd, when I was in the front garden he was round the side of his bungalow throwing 2 black sacks full of bottles in to his bin, it would explain a lot, say no more, you understand.

I've still not touched the puzzle but am thinking of having an early shower since I got so sticky and will do some while I watch the TV.

Hi Janet, it's been 65 and mostly cloudy for which I was very pleased. I spent about 3 hours in the garden. First I potted up the tomato plants that Sam gave me and a small bean plant. I have no idea what it is but Sam says it's will produce something like small french beans, only she couldn't remember what they were called! I cleared more of the garden at the front for Alan to plant the dahlias and dianthus, well that's if he comes. I watered the ground where I want him to plant them as it was just dust. I stopped for lunch, roast beef, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes plus peas and carrots. I then went back and cut the grass. If he comes tomorrow I want Alan to strim under the trees, plant the flowers and weed the terrace area. I also have another job for him which may get done as Sue and Ian are away in York for a week. Since he won't be doing their garden I'm hoping to have him for 2 hours instead of one. I have a shoe rack that need assembling and although I could do it I'm sure it won't take him half as long. I bought one for my friend then went back and got one for myself!!
