Auntie's nail clippers arrived so they're packed up with her chocolates  and books for her birthday which is still over a week away. Gosh I'm so organised I can't believe it!

Henry's parcels are wrapped and ready too I just hope he likes the things I've bought. I'll let you know tomorrow. I can't wait to see what Sam and Jordan buy him!

Hi Janet, all of the photos my ex took were on slides and he took those with him, never mind that's life.

Sounds like you should keep the old glass out of the dishwasher, it wasn't made to survive that. I'm sure some of the fancy glass was much thinner and more fragile then. My aunt has some and is always washed by hand when it gets used, which is usually when the family are there. She doesn't use it the rest of the time it's just too much trouble when you're over 90.

I did go to the shop and they had some of their summer stuff in and I did buy a top but will go back and see what else they've had in maybe later in the week. I also got the few bits of grocery shopping I needed. When I got home I finished the puzzle, it's a pity one of the edge pieces is missing, it's a bit obvious. Never mind I'll put it back in the box and take it next time I go to the hall.
