I will need to go for a few groceries tomorrow unfortunately the forecast is for rain, not drizzle and more cold weather.
I had a visit early this evening from Lorraine, the American lady, who lives down the road. She phoned to ask if it was OK to come for a chat. Of course it was OK and she wandered up the road and we spent 3 hours catching up and drinking tea. She said we live so close but hadn't seen each other since Christmas. Where does the time go. Her partner, Tony, has just retired so I doubt we'll be seeing much more of each other now she has him at home! It's her birthday next month so I'll return her visit and must try to think of something she might like as a little gift.
