I am so glad that Randy is better! I remember when my poodle Butchie got sick like that and it was awful.

While he was here, my cousin Richard turned up with some photos from my uncle's house. They were of my mum when she was young, I'd never seen any of them before. I have said that if they find any photos of auntie and uncle's wedding I'd like to have one. I was their bridesmaid and I've never seen any pictures of it. Richard reckons they will turn up  at some point, he says that the brother is going through everything. If it was left to me I'd get a skip and dump the lot, but that's just me, anything for an easy life. lol

Pity about the hearing aids, but there's no point having them if you can't get on with them, Don will just have to shout louder. lol

Sounds like Randy has turned the corner, poor boy he did have a rough time, give him a tummy rub from me.

Hi Janet, I went to pick up a few things for Sue for Christmas, it's so difficult buying things for a nun, it's usually soap and shower things. I'm wondering if she'd like a fluffy dressing gown so must give her a call to find out. I got a few bits and pieces then went to get some bird food. [ I can't believe how much they eat]. It was at this point I decided to visit the private dentist to cancel my next week appointment. I explained that I now have a national health one and she said they'd refund the deposit on the appointment I don't need. Remembering the gardener was coming I returned home and thought I'd finish the shopping after he'd gone. I waited and waited, had some lunch and when he was over an hour late I got in the car and as I drove off the driveway he pulled on. I was pleased he came and he cleared the conservatory gutter and weeded the back garden. He's OK but he's not as thorough as Louise was and not as dependable. By the time he'd gone I decided I'd finish the shopping tomorrow.
