You're not going to believe this but the car got 'seagulled' again today, I stopped off at M&S and was only in there about 10 minutes, when I got back to the car it was covered in bird muck. The cars either side were clean, I don't think the birds around here like silver cars, anyway I went back to the car wash and the guy there asked if I was Ok and I said not if the birds keep this up, I'll be bankrupt but the car wash will be fine, another $14 in their till!!

I'm missing the hall tomorrow as Ness is going to pick up her new car, somewhere towards London. I'll still visit Sheila and have lunch and a chat.

I love that Nick wants you to take in his remote control, that man doesn't have a clue. I'd be tempted to ask him if it has a low volume setting!!

It's been almost 60 today and felt really warm in the sun. I stopped by the shop to get the local paper and had a short walk then came home and drank tea, lots of tea to wake me up!

I cleaned the bird baths again, boy are they grubby, and said goodbye to a few more weeds. I'm hoping Alan comes Monday as he missed this week, fingers crossed he'll get those fuchsias up and I can sort out something else to plant there. I'm thinking maybe chrysanthemums I don't think they have very deep roots and they're perennials, I can't be doing annual flowers they're too much like hard work.

Hi Janet, today did not start well. I woke up looked at the clock and it was 7:25. I was up and with my hair washed when I looked at the clock on my kitchen wall which was at half past 5, ouch how did that happen. I went back to the bedroom and the clock was still 7:25 the battery had died last night! Since I was up and about I decided to get ready to re visit the opticians. My new glasses are not too bad but I have some blurring in my right eye. I wanted to know was it my cataract or if the glasses were a bit 'off'. He was lovely and had me looking through some different lenses and decided I'll have to live with it as it's the cataract. It's not too bad, certainly not bad enough for the op yet, it's just another thing to annoy me. This getting old isn't for wimps!!

Good for Suzi, she sent a puzzle, just what you needed, you'll have to make space for it.
