How are the fingers today you were suffering yesterday, hope they've recovered. It seems to me these days it doesn't take much to create a pain or strain somewhere and then if you're like me you wonder what you did to make your shoulder hurt or your knee ache. This old thing is no fun...

I've just looked on my calendar to see what's happening this week, Oh dear I have a dentist's appointment on Friday and he's going to suggest I have a crown on the tooth he filled last time I saw him. He said if the fillings came out that would be the next thing, well they came out and it's going to cost about $450, never mind there's not much I can do but grin and bear it.

Hi Janet, it's been a miserable day weather wise, mostly wet. Pippa came first thing then I had to wait for the washing machine guy. He's been here before when the machine went wrong just before my hip op. He remembered and asked how I'd been which was sweet of him. Anyway he wasn't here long, he just sorted the seal and went. I finally got to go out about 12 and went to the store and bought the compact spot cleaner. It's now sitting in it's box on my settee and I may have a try with it tomorrow.

I was going to see auntie but forgot I was expecting a parcel so once I'd done the shopping stayed home to wait for it. Nothing came until Kath came round about 5 with a box she'd taken in just after I went out shopping. Never mind with the weather as wet as it's been I didn't think auntie would walk round, so I'll go and see her tomorrow.
