I remembered to call about the lock and the lady said it would arrive tomorrow and they could fit it Thursday. As I'm out at Sam's then and will be out again Friday we decided it would be best for him to come Monday morning.

Tomorrow I'm heading for aunties as I have a birthday card for one of her granddaughters. It will need to find its way from hers to her son's and then on the her granddaughter so I think I'd best send it early. I also have a card for Jill's husband. We're going out for a meal soon but his birthday is Thursday so I'll drop it off tomorrow.

I finished the puzzle so will have to sort out another, I think there's another wasjig but I want to save that until I visit Maggie so I'll have a look for something else.

Hi Janet, OMG Sandy seems to get nothing but bad luck and now it's happening to her friends. I think the idea of a small step to get in and out of the jeep is a great one. When we came back from the weddings we came in a taxi which seated 7 and was really high, the first time I had so much trouble getting out that when we went to the second wedding I took a small step stool in the back of cousin's car but didn't need it as the driver of the taxi had 2 small steps that he placed against the taxi for us all the use. I assume he'd had a lot of older people who couldn't manage such a high step.

I had a great breakfast with Dawn which lasted from 9 until 12, we left the restaurant when the lunch customers started to arrive! We always have so much to talk about time just flies.

I called in at the library to return my book but will need to call again soon as I've another on order.

Good morning, Janet. Thanks for the chaffinch. I’ll bet passing out ducks is fun, especially if you get to witness the person coming out to their car and finding it. How many ducks do you have? Do you keep them on the dash of the car? Very cold here this morning…43 degrees…brrr🥶. It’s going to warm up nicely today so Penny and I will go on our walk for sure. I hope you have a great day.
