Bless you I wouldn't let you out there digging up shrubs I no longer need but if Alan came it would be the ideal time with the ground so damp I've no doubt they'd come up easily for him. I'm also thinking the shed roof won't be done this side of Christmas.

I'm having what I call a tired day, I'm not in the mood for doing anything much although I've so much that I could get on with. Those Christmas cards are looking at me ....

I noticed last week that the rat poison I put out under the shed was gone so I put some more out and again this morning. When I checked this afternoon it had gone too, it says that one dose should destroy them, HUH they've not told my rats that! I've ordered more on line as the shop didn't have anymore in stock but that won't be here for another 2/3 days.

I'm going to get ready for bed then sit here in my PJ's and watch some TV.

Hi Janet, it's been a miserable wet day. No sign of Alan which didn't surprise me. I'll have to phone him to see if he's working or what. Although it says our temps are 50 the wind chill is making it feel like 30 no wonder I'm not overly warm which is unusual for me. I did go out to the library and stopped there for a while doing a jigsaw they have laid out on a table for anyone to do. Since I've not touched mine for a few days I got my fix! When I got home I realized I should have bought a pretty shopping carrier bag. Sue's birthday presents are quite large and she's worse than a child. She'll feel round all of them unless i can seal them in something. I tell her that there's no point me wrapping presents if she's going to know what they all are before her birthday or come to that before Christmas day. I've also threatened to give them to Sister Sheila at the convent to hide them until the day.
