Happy Saturday! We just bummed around today. Went down to the shop and then over to our new favorite bakery so we could each pick out a cookie then popped in an dout of a bunch of other stores running errands. Went to the Igloo Diner- one of my High school haunts for the awesome fries and a papaya punch. I finally got the bunting put up on the balcony this afternoon and gave the puppers ear cleanings and manicures. Now just time to relax and watch the race. The fireworks are in our town tonight so I'm hoping that people don't set a bunch off when they get home from watching the city display- it's so hard on the dogs, and there's a young woman across the street with autism that doesn't do well with them either. Have a great night! 

Our town is doing the Independence day celebrations early too. I think because we live in an area with all small towns it seems that the towns are trying to do them on different nights so people can go from town to town to watch fireworks rather than everyone doing it on the 4th. The next town south always has theirs over the Illinois River and one year I knew someone with a boat and got to  watch them floating in the river and that was really cool.

Good that they are visiting over!! What is Canada Day? Was Canada formed on that day?? What celebration at the beach??
Seminar was on the Narcotics Drugs..
Today is the 12th day ceremony of the uncle.. will be there the whole day.. will be back late in the night..
