Hi Connie we went for a walk along the river front ( Royal Albert Dock - Liverpool) it was lovely and fresh. Last night was so humid it was hard to sleep and today has been very warm /hot so far. It is so good to see the sun after so much rain. Washing all done and out in the garden, knitting on the go ready for charity sale, new book by Anne Cleeves ready to be read.

We got just over an inch here but  they are under water just a few miles from us.

Hi Connie - I had a vey busy day at the Cathedral today - we had about 500 children from schools all over Liverpool for a special service of blessing as they move from Primary to Secondary school so all Year 6  children with their families it was also very hot so a good work out too.

Absolutely gorgeous sunny day very warm just a slight wind.
Had a sad morning saying goodbye to a friends mum, Elsie, she had been a friend of my mum's so it brought back many memories.

Good celebration of her life though she was 96.
