It was entertaining...and that is the main thing for us. Just enough history to not become boring. And made me think about all the minorities and their struggles...including women. How we weren't able to vote until sometime in the 1900's and we could not own property either.
I have done nothing today...even sloughed off exercise class and I liked that.
Will go wash out a couple winter jackets and feel righteous. Hahaha

We had really no preconceptions about the play...called Sir John A: Acts of Gentrified Ojibway Rebellion. It was funny, and educational...and had music. We were all singing at the end. Really caused a lot of discussion afterwards. I would recommend especially if a history buff. It reminded us that Canada became a country because ones like Sir John realized that our people were different than those in the US...and the way to really protect what we had was to become a country.

Hi Connie … yes I understand.. believe it or not my middle son is an air conditioning engineer .. his home is fantastic ..  but a lot of folks would be shocked at the homes of UK ,, it’s not like the movies..  or the PR that UK is so very good at . The reality for lots of homes are damp and cold.. even new housing doesn’t come with A/C  not for ordinary folks.  Most are not insulated properly ,  but we survive .. and are hardy I guess!! Ha ha . But then visitors tend to stay in hotels and presume it’s standard .
Think that’s why we suffer with the heat .. do take care, and enjoy your warm days ahead .. xx
