From my neck of the woods, Thanksgiving Sprinkles xxx
This morning at 4AM is was 8 F outside.  Baby it's cold outside.  House was 59 F last night upon returning from work. :(   Winter watch/advisory from Friday night until Sunday AM.  Possibility of up to 10" of snow xxxx   Call me nuts, but I love snow and cold xxx

In the US it is Thanksgiving Day: thank you for being a fairyland friend!

THE NEGLECTED FAIRY

Oh why do I sigh,
And moan, and cry
About how very much
Time goes by
When I don't pay attention
To my inner fay,
(I really don't want her
To fly away!)
So instead let me sit
And write some lines,
Hoping to get a poem
That really shines,
`Cause the fairy within me
Needs time for fun
Lest she get cranky
And come undone.
If I do a good job,
She'll soar to new heights
When I dust out the cobwebs
And turn on the lights;
Together we'll go
To a magical place
That will put a sweet grin
On her tiny face.
She will flutter her wings,
Sing some sparkling songs
In a place filled with magic,
Where she truly belongs!
