Hi Sarah, I read your question last night as I was going to bed, decided I'd answer it this morning, forgot I was going to the movies. So I'm answering it now. My grand daughter didn't open a lot of presents during the lunch, there were heaps of people there and the pub had another group coming in, so we could't linger any longer but was there altogether about 3 hours. I bought two little all in one outfits for a 3-6 month old. (She had a lot of "stuff" for a newborn to 3 months) I bought a cot mattress protector, pack of 3 teething "things" a play mat, nappies and baby wipes and a little Duckling cuddle toy.  I shared the cost with my ex, the future Great Grandpa. I had wrapped all my gifts except the nappies and baby wipes. A lady came in with some gifts in a little white open basket and the first thing I noticed, she'd bought the exact same Play mat. I mentioned it to my grand daughter that I still had the receipt and could change it. Don't know if there were anymore "doubling ups" I really have no idea what she ended up with but I'm sure they'll find good uses for everything. Way more than I ever got, don't think there were Baby showers when I had mine. xx

Emily’s cottage is very tiny with limited storage space & she’s always having clear-outs as the ch/n grow out of things & move on. I shove some of her throw-out in my big cupboard under the stairs 🙂

Yes, it’s a 3 minute drive but too far to walk there & back as well as a long beach walk, I’m too old for that!
