It was a friend's Birthday today, she lives a fair way from me, so it was an all day trip and by the time I got home I was worn out.
It was our Melbourne Cup, very famous Horse race today They call it "the Race that stops a Nation" If people from all over Australia don't actually travel to Melb. for the race, they are glued to their TV screens. Horses come from all over the world to race in it. I told my friend it's the first time I have never put a bet on or  been in any sweeps. There is a South Australian female jockey that won a very well known Race a couple of weeks ago and she was also riding today on a South Australian trained horse. I live in South Aust. by the way. Anyway, I told my friend it was going to be the first time I haven't had a bet and I was sorry, I would have liked to have had a bet on the SA jockey. Didn't even get to watch the race. 😥 ....and guess what, She won!!! She made racing history as the first female jockey to have won the two races. I'm going to tell my friend if her Birthday happens again on the same day as the Cup, she'll have to change it!  😂It's the only race I ever have a bet on and probably the same for a lot of people. I could have built a mansion with my winnings. 😂😂😂 Enjoy your day. xx

I'm freezing overnight now, just want to watch a bit of TV before bed. Do you get a lot of people Trick or Treating around your area? I saw a few all dressed up, walking through our cul-de-sac. We have 2 walk ways, one leads to the main road and the other to a huge park and large pond. It goes through to other streets too, not sure where these Ghosts and Gremlins were heading. Hope they got plenty of Treats. Have a good Sunday. xxx

Aww, I love both of those, Molly & Toby are too old to enjoy them now!
My understanding is quite poor of electronic gadgetry which you plug into your ears etc, a tv or good old fashioned head phones I could just about manage manage! Xxx
