I get that she's been through a lot and I'm not unsympathetic to her situation, honestly, I'm really not. But (and you had to know that was coming) can I ask another question, was she there for you in the same way you are for her? Your loss was just as devastating, and, if I'm wrong, I take it all back but (there's that word again) the surface impression I'm getting is that she wasn't. I'm going to be blunt (and I'm sorry if I hurt *you* by saying this) everytime you mention her, all I can think is, she's an emotional vampire. There are ways to protect yourself but you're doing most of them already, whether naturally or not, so all I can add is that you need to prioritise YOU. You are obviously a nurturer by nature - and that's a beautiful thing - but you have to turn that inwards sometimes and take care of you.

You are important. Your mental health is *very* important. I know I probably shouldn't say anything but I have to. Please though, don't close off about her to me, you need to let it out and I'll do my best to behave. As to your neighbour, she's just out and out taking the bloody piss! The second you say "go look yourself" she miraculously finds her own! Hmmmm. Minds like mine might find that a little suspicious. And why exactly does it need to go in your shed?? I didn't mean for you to put your grey rocks out right away (doesn't matter though), I'd seen your little reminder note to yourself and wasn't sure if you'd missed they grey rocks off on purpose or not, it was just a little nudge 😉 Thank you so much for saying that about my knitting, I'm ultra-critical of my makes but that pink/white/grey one does look lovely.

You can't see it in the photos but the yarn has an almost pearlised finish (makes it flipping difficult to sew up), it's so pretty. Of course I'll post a picture of the new set when it's done. I'm not sure you'll even see the white in a photo but I'll try. If you can knit, you can make anything, it's all about following the pattern... and remember, I've been knitting for over 40 years 🤣🤣 Ohhhh! That's makes me feel really old! I have to do my feeders tomorrow but they'll need to come in to be cleaned first with all the rain we've had, the bottoms will be a mess. Luke will get the job of bringing them in, he only has to reach up, long legs that he is! I have to drive my to the library in town tomorrow, she needs to return a parcel and apparently that's the local drop point - keeps it open I guess!!
