Glad your back is improving Carol. I rarely get my nails done now. I actually have a gel polish set with the lamp at home but struggle to do my right hand. I also have another set called Sistaco which is powder you apply with a brush or a foam applicator - so much easier than polish - but I'm lazy. It takes me ages to do them myself so treated myself today. I did get to M&S and I got a gift set with different bulbs in a nice container for our neighbour. I wanted these magic leggings for myself - they're great for doing housework & also wearing to walk the dogs with a pair of wellies on - but I couldn't find them in the store so will look online. HMV was closed so I will have to go back on Sunday. And I'd like to get a little something for my sisters husband - she said to get him an Amazon voucher which I did - but I want him to have a parcel as well. He's diabetic so I can't buy sweeties. I've given him diabetic socks before. He likes gardening so maybe I should have picked up another container with bulbs in M&S. Lol :-)

Hi Carol, hope you're back is improving. It's good that you've got Christmas off & Emma to spend the day with. The 20% off had been great, hasn't it? We did a big shop on Wednesday, got a leg of lamb, a silverside joint, a big ham & a big joint of  pork for the freezer, plus all the booze, wine, advocat, Bailey's, spiced rum etc for New year as well as Christmas so I just have to pick up fresh veggies, fruit, milk, cream etc next week. Our tree is now up & I am just heading up town (it's 1715) I'm getting my nails done at 1915 but want to go to M&S for a few things and I also have to pick up a dvd in hmv.....if it's still open at 1800. But other than that I'm organised now which is a weight off. I had Thomas today. He's 20 months old & a livewire. He usually has a 1.5-2 hour nap through the day but he was full of beans today and didn't sleep at all. I'm.not having much luck with my gold tree. I keep having to discard things because they're the wrong colour but sometimes it's hard to talk what colour I actually got. I have done a tree already this year so at least I'll get the free SF even if this one isn't finished x

Hello, how are you today? Are you off for Christmas? It will just be the 2 of us on Christmas Day but we are having the family for a meal on Christmas Eve. I am pretty organised now, posted my cards today & all the presents are wrapped except for Colins & his Mums which I am waiting to get delivered. Tesco colleagues get 20% off this week so I am trying to make space in the freezers before doing a big grocery shop. I am trying to build a Christmas tree all one colour - I chose gold - but am finding it quite hard as I keep getting different colours of baubles etc & having to discard them. I have seen gardens with 3 or 4 different trees, each tree all one colour & think they are so pretty x

She will prob always have the Prozac but hopefully not the prednisone. It’s such a small amount now it’s really nothing but you know

Hi Carol, 15 days into the holiday calendar  and I'm getting the same winter wildlife all the time. I've never had a cardinal or a pygmy mouse. It seems to be white mice, field mice and robins x

I spent a lot of money on all sorts of clothing like cat suits etc. so she couldn’t do it. But she would just roll over fall over on her side when I put them on her and look at me like “take this off me mom” lol

My vet worked so hard. Ruling out ear mites or mites in general. Ruling out allergy. Trying the prednisone tablet every day. Which did help for awhile then she started again so she added the Prozac w the prednisone which worked. But trying to wean off the prednisone.

Isn’t that something that both your black cat and mine over groomed?
