Hi Carol, hope all is well with you. I got an Otrivine menthol nasal spray from Tesco's that was great.... It worked a treat for the congestion...... And I'm much better now thanks :-)

We had about 5" which is above average for us.  It's so cold so it won't be melting anytime soon.

Ive got some tablets off the doctor to sleep but they dont really do much, if I do nod off with them it makes you feel lousy the next day x

Hi Carol, glad you are better now. I am full of the cold, really congested, I would prefer to have a constant runny nose than feel I couldn't breathe through my nose. I've clarted Vicks Vapour Rub on my chest & neck but am only feeling a tingling sensation. It used to be great stuff & would clear your airways quickly. they must have changed the formula - probably removed the good stuff that actually helped! I have a tiny tub of menthol crystals so am going to try a menthol inhalation next. I love my wellies. I wear them all year when taking the dogs out. They are so comfortable but I do put the ice gripper things over them if it's slippy. I still haven't booked a hotel yet. I've earmarked a couple (I couldn't believe some hotels have rooms with no window! No thank you!) but need to let Colin look at them (and the price) before I book :-)
