tysm for the gold sprinkling.  I don't buy anything online, call me old fashioned but I don't trust it. I've grown up with cats too.  My parents had a tabby cat called Tiger just before I was born and after he died cats seemed to graduate to our house and were adopted so I've never been without one, or two lol xx

Hi Carol, Colins Mum had the shingles vaccine but not sure how old she was when she got it. She's 88 now. My Optician told me exactly the same thing ass you about my cataract. he said it might grow very slowly over 20 years. However it has progressed quite a lot & if I close my right eye (I only have a cataract in my left eye) it is a bit fuzzy & blurry. If both eyes were like that I wouldn't drive. I'm also short sighted in one eye & long sighted in the other so they sort of compensate for each other in that regard. I was last at the Optician in July & have another appointment for January. I haven't seen an Eye Specialist so it can't be that bad yet.  Sorry, that's Colin phoning to say he'll be ready to get picked up (after work) in 10 minutes so I'll have to go xx

Hi Carol so nice to see you back in the garden. You  have been missed/ Have you had a good year? Do hope so. Mine has been all over the place and right now we are suffering from a heat wave and there are bush fires already. Not near me but still scary! xx

My daughter tells me only to cross where there is a dropped kerb as both times I tripped up a kerb. We always said My husband would do something silly as he had got over cancer twice, heart failure, kidney and liver problems. My cats are brother and sister and Sophie hates all other cats including Louis.  She'd much rather be an only cat.  My neighbour's cat comes and looks in the window and Sophie hisses, spits, coughs and yowls at her! Yes, I don't think I could be without one , maybe an elderly cat next if I'm still around! xx
