Hi Evelyn, I’m not usually so organised, it’s because we are going away. We go to Spain most years in December and I usually spend all the time that we are away worrying about what I have to do when I get back. I was determined not to do that this year. When Peter comes back from the gym we are going out to get a real Christmas tree and probably decorate it this afternoon.
I’m enjoying doing the fairy lights in FL, I think it’s the best lights we’ve had. I have finished the easy quest once and only have to spot a Pegasus to complete the intermediate quest. Spotting a Pegasus is easier said than done. Not many people are doing them.
I miss Debenhams as well. I think they’ve closed all their shops. I have a friend he worked in Debenhams and she got 25% off of all purchases, that was handy when I was doing my Christmas shopping.
We go to Spain next weekend but I’m so busy that weekend. My friend is coming over for a catch up before Christmas on Friday night. We are going out for a meal and she’s staying over. I’m going out with my sisters on Saturday afternoon then Peter and I are travelling to the airport Saturday night, staying overnight in a hotel and travelling to Spain Sunday morning.
Oh well, I suppose I had best get ready to go out before Peter gets back from the gym. Have a nice Monday Evelyn xx

Hi Evelyn, the doctors will probably decide that we need surgery when we start walking into things, Lol. I didn't realise that you could get shingles on the head. Anyone I know of have had it on their body. I can imagine how worrying that would have been for Colins mum and the relief that it was shingles, even though it would have been painful. I hope my eye recovers soon as it is affecting my vision, it hurts to look at the computer screen, even my phone screen for too long x

Hi Evelyn, I didn't open birthday cards until Emma and the girls were here last night so I extended my birthday quite a bit. Thank you for your card.
I have whizzed through 4 days of the calendar yesterday so I'm hoping to catch up quite quickly. I finally found the last jackdaw to get the magpie to lay her egg so will get the gold magpies soon then put the vases away until the new year (sometime). I have completed one cuckoo vase and I'm leaving the other one while I have space to see if I catch a chick on my travels (unlikely). I like this month as it gives you a chance to catch up on seeds for the shroom, mine are going down drastically lol.
Grahams cousin has asked me to get her a couple of things from the shop so I will do that this afternoon. I will have to see her tomorrow as well as she has had a text from her GP to collect a form to book a blood test. I will collect the form for her then sort out the appointment. Her tablet box will need refilling tomorrow so I will do that too. It sounds as if her leg is still swollen even though she is taking a diuretic.

Hi Evelyn, thank you for that. I'm not sure whether I'll try them or not, I know if I read one or two I won't be able to walk away and I'm not sure I'm up for yet another huge series. And Number 31 is a biiiig series! I really enjoyed Game of Thrones but I'm not sure I'd be able to read the books, the show didn't leave much to the imagination and I dread to think what I could work up in my own head!! I'm also reading another series that I'm really, really enjoying (it's... gritty and sexy!). It's by Stacia Kane and it's called the Downside Ghosts, the first one is Unholy Ghosts and is one I'd definitely say take a peek at. Do you know/have you heard of time slips? I find the whole thing fascinating and am trying to find stories involving time slips.

I've found three, read them all, enjoyed them but two weren't really time slips, more telling two stories from two different times at the same time! Anyway, if you've come across anything involving time slips, I'd be really interested please 🙏  We're all readers, except for Luke! And I tried everything but it's just not his thing. I managed to get him interested in Terry Brookes' books but he really only reads if I nag and nag him or if he's that bored. I can't imagine it. There was a time when I'd be reading three books at a time - one at work, one at home and one in the car. Now I have trouble remembering the plot of the book I finished a week ago 🤣🤣 Make sure you study the reviews when choosing your new Kindle, they've made "improvements" to certain models that aren't necessarily improvements!! xx

Hi Evelyn, yes its not terribly warm here either, l envy you with the log burner. We had a problem since Friday night, no heating or hot water. No idea what went wrong it was only serviced a week ago. Heavy rain here too is not helping. So ts boiling kettles for washing and hot water bottles for me. Hubby has a Gas fire in the lounge so not too bad, l dont like it for too long . So wrap up with thermals and a hot water bottle. Hands go through phases freezing cold to very warm crazy huh. I have a huge (long) raincoat with a hood its warm too for outside on the mobility scooter. Ideal for the wet weather. Hubby used to take our boy through the fields, one night our boy decided to race a Greyhound dragging hubby through the mud  . He wore wet gear after that and who could blame him lol. . xxx

Yeah getting there, I only need one Crane thank goodness, thought I’d set up 4 Halloween critters while I wait, I didn’t do any good on pumpkin even with sf on the plates still got the gnome with the broom lol! I’ll try again once I get my free gold stacked up, fingers crossed I get the last gnome before it finishes! Have u got all your gnomes now ? xx
