Hi Evelyn and welcome back, you sound as if you've been so busy since you got back that you're going to need another holiday 😂. It sounds as though you had a really lovely time, I'm so glad the weather was kind to you, it's been pretty good here too. I hope you took time to relax as well, after all you and Colin do for everyone else,you certainly deserve it. Did you see any wildlife whilst you were there - dolphins or seals? I'm still waiting to be made a great-auntie again, Trina has said Annie has been feeling a bit uncomfortable the last couple of days so it might not be too much longer. I sorted all the things out that I've been buying... I'm going to be in so much trouble 😂😂😂

Not much happening here. Oh it seems Luke may have got himself a girlfriend. I say may because he's being quite tight-lipped about it. That's probably my fault as I expressed certain, erm, opinions. She's 25 with a 5 year old son. Luke's 19! I think she's already taking advantage of his generous nature by having him drive her home after work. He doesn't finish until 10pm and dropping her off and then coming home makes a 10/15 minute journey a 35/45 minute one. It's my car, my petrol and she's paying him £5 a week. A pound a day. A cab would cost her between £10-£15 per day. I am not happy but if I don't want to push him.at her I've got to bite my lip. For now! I've always watched snippets of those programs about overbearing mums and promised myself it wouldn't be me... apparently it is 🙄😂😂

It's the same in our local hospitals, so many beds taken up by the elderly or unwell who can't go home because there's no care plan in place for their safety. It's scary to think what might have happened to me if I'd ruptured my Esophagus now rather than 5 years ago! The hospitals are both NHS hospitals and mum said they've plans to actually re-hire some of the staff but via agencies - apparently that will actually be cheaper because of this rise in National Insurance contributions that's being implemented! Worrying isn't it? I also think we should implement something like some other countries have with regards to Insurance for foreign visitors. You want treatment whilst your on holiday, show me your insurance proving you can pay for it! You're right, sadly the NHS is broken.

I have a thing about black varieties of flowers and a few years ago found a black Sunflower. It's not black black but after that, I tried to find other different colours. This will be my first attempt at a white one so keep everything crossed for me, it'll be interesting! My cat wouldn't go after a bird box now, he doesn't even walk up the stairs to any of the bedrooms anymore, the other local cats, I don't know. I think it will (probably) be more to do with fledgings. It's a shame your little Blue Tit isn't coming around though, they are such sweet little birds. Did I tell you about the crows? We were watching them nest building for ages - it's very frustrating that we can't see the nest anymore as the leaves are filling out on the branches! But one of them flew into the garden to drink from the bird bath. It was so amazing to watch (I love crows) and they are BIG! I had no idea!! I'm hoping they might bring the fledgings in at some point like the Magpies and Jackdaws did last year. That reminds me, we haven't seen the Jackdaws yet this year either 😭 So few birds at the moment, it's quite worrying.

How was Colin's birthday trip to Skye, did you get there this time?
I really haven't got in to the gold critters at all, I've not even completed the Mouse one. I just saw it as another money grab after watching Luke spend a ton of gold in water fights, it's like the whole of Fairyland went nuts! I know we've spoken about it before but I just don't like the way it brings out the selfishness in some players. Anyway, I still have so much other stuff to finish 😂 Luke's loving the recent ones, he's still beavering away to get to Legendary VII and he's been spotting two and three Extinct critters in one garden and it's giving his gem balance a nice boost! Oh you're so right, I lurve the free Superfood.

A friend mentioned that it actually resets on the 1st of every month so I'm going to test that theory and use it on 30th and 31st May and if it does reset, 1st and 2nd June which would give me four consecutive days. Welcome back!  Yeah, it definitely gets harder to do any quests if you don't do them as soon as they come out.  I really noticed it this time with the gold extincts.  It was easy to find well setup gardens with SF for the first week or so and then it thinned out.  This was the first gold critters quest that I did where I had all the 5 gold critters spotted and I am not sure it was worth the effort.  It would be nice if you could switch back and forth between using it as a vase for anything and also putting the bouquet back.  I don't think it is worth the effort but that is the way I feel about a lot of things with this game now.  I just don't like the constant hunt and garden setups.  Seeing friends is what is keeping me here.  I just don't have much energy for the game anymore.
I have been spending a lot of time in the real garden.  I have a lot of plants, shrubs and small trees and it all seems to need work.  I am really understanding the concept of "the more stuff you have, the more work you have to do."  I love being outside and gardening but a lot of it really is work!

Hi Evelyn, I’m so glad u had a lovely holiday & I’m pleased u r feeling better n over your cough n cold. I’ve had to shelve the vases for now as I’ve not reached the Dodo level, I keep trying to do quests to get there, I redo the bird quest a lot inbetween trying to work out what I need for kangaroo n tiger vases lol, I bet my missing ones will relate to bamboo, just struggling to spot them! Hey are u still friends with Sue on Facebook? I’ve messaged her, but don’t appear to be on her friends list anymore, I just hope she is ok, I’ll let u know if she replies xx
