Morning Evelyn, I had a good birthday yesterday and a lovely lunch with Nicola.
Glad you had a lovely holiday, it sounds idyllic. Hope you enjoy Croatia, I’ve heard it’s very picturesque. As for the weather, I think it’s going to be hotter than Zante. I’ve checked the temperatures and Croatia is going to be in the 30’s whilst Zante is going to be in the mid to high 20’s. We are all set to go today, I’m going with my friend Carole. We are staying at a hotel in the airport tonight and then flying to Zante tomorrow.
I’m trying to do the last of the vases but it’s a long, hard slog. And an expensive one at that! I won’t be on my garden all week but I’m going to keep it open as I need the Wombat for one of my vases and the plant takes so long to be RFH. It won’t be ready until I’m about to come home.
Anyway, I’d best go, I’ve got the hairdressers at 9. Enjoy your day xx

wow sounds beautiful, Ive been to Bute a couple of times and up to Edinburgh, had mums neighbours family up in Bute, we stayed overnight in Stranraer one year, notsure where we were heading, there was a murder and our car got stopped and they checked the boot for weapons! that was scary, we ended up driving and driving until we arrived in the middle of nowhere in the Isle of Whithorn, that was even more scary, found a little B & B with a pub and post office, that was it, there was the proverbial huge ginger guy in the bar telling us ghost stories, we were terrified and in the night our room looked over a huge hill, there were people in white capes standing in a circle, well that was enough for us, shaking under the sheets we came down at breakfast and it was like it never happened, we told the manager of the hotel, he said, ahhh yes, thats it, lolcwe came home past gretna green, martins car was on its last legs then but it didnt half speed up when I mentioned we should go and have a look ha x

Hi Evelyn, I had a lovely time in Mexico thanks, hope you enjoyed your holiday as well. I’m going to Zante on Tuesday.
It’s my birthday tomorrow, I went out for a lovely Turkish meal last night. Nicola is taking the day off work tomorrow and taking me out to lunch. She’s recovered well from her op and has been discharged from the hospital. It’s helped the pain and the swelling so she’s glad she’s had it done xx
