Not been able to see June. The Home has covid. Relatives can visit. But must mask up ect. Being on my own I am staying away till they get the all clear. Lynne went on Saturday.June is in her room. Was watching t.v. Not done that for a few years !! Was just not interested. But she is in bed.Still not able to get out on her own. Tomorrow is her birthday. I was going over. But will now stay away. Sent her card in the post. So I hope she gets it. xxx

Hi,Von. Saw my niece yesterday. Her and Matthew popped in. They were in June's having a look round. She has been moved to a Nursing Home a few miles away. Of course it is expensive. So the house has to be sold. Not sure when they will put it on the market. It needs a lot of work.
Enjoyed Strictly but it did go on. I turned over for a while and watched a programme about making the old "All Creatures Great and Small " series. Then back to Strictly .!! Lots of Love  xxx

Heard this afternoon from my niece. June has to go into a Nursing Home. Which are not easy to find.

Went and saw June yesterday. They have moved her to the Island's hospital. So only 5 minutes driving there. She is in the Frail and Physio ward. Think they are going to try and get her standing and then walking. So she can go back to her Care Home. xxxx

Hi,Von. Sunshine and showers today. I will pass  on your birthday wishes to Mary. Heard from my niece last night. She had been to see June. The drip is out and she was taking more notice of what was happening in the ward. So hopefully a good sign.

Took Mary for her birthday lunch today. It is not till the week end .But today was my only free day. Hope to go and see June on Friday. Lynne, my niece is there today. Hopefully the medication is working and she will be her old self soon.

Hi,Von. heard from my Niece that June was taken to hospital yesterday. Now on an anti biotic drip and having a scan. So being kept in at the moment .xxx

I expect I will make Crumbles with my blackberries. But I am waiting for the llocal apples. Bramley are best. Will miss my friend, Ann, who gave me all her apples. We never knew what tree it was. But they cooked down ok.
Looks like we are getting the heat wave. Do not like it too hot. Today is fine. The gardens are so dry and cracking up.

Hi, Von. I took Mary home after her appointment. She just wants to get home after her treatment .Its not Glucoma. But it is to do with fluid in her eyes. THis time there were no injections. But she has had those before. So you end up with running eyes and sore for a while. Thats why she just want to get home. But if it helps her sight. She will put up with it. This time it was no injections. .But photos of her eye. She had to wait a while for the results. Going back in 4 weeks.
