4. I was asking Sharon that I used to work with & she didn't know anything about it. My old ward where she still works is colorectal & upper gastrointestinal surgery and there are 3 upper GI surgeons. However she surmised it must be because there are 93 bed blockers in the hospital - the equivalent of 3 wards - all waiting for care packages at home or places in nursing homes. So there is no short stay ward at the moment as it is full of these elderly people waiting for care. I find that really sad - as well as inconvenient for people like Colin. I have booked the train as the Inverness - Aberdeen road is not good & the train will be a lot quicker & less stressful than driving. My friend lives 20 minutes from Inverurie which is the stop before Aberdeen so she will pick us up there & take us directly to ARI, then the 2 of us can catch up as I suspect Colin will have to go through pre-assessment after he sees the consultant. Tea time now. I'm hungry after all my exercise with the logs earlier ;-D

2. Glad you got your new suite & that you are pleased with it. Is that all your work done in the house for now? We got our new chairs for sitting in front of the log burner & the dining table & chairs are coming next Monday. Now we have to get rid of the 6 old chairs. Colin wants to keep the oak table as he will use it as a work bench! However he has limited space to store it as he still has a boat taking up one half of the garage! Hello again, I think fireworks should be banned to the public & only allowed at organised events with proper safety precautions in place. I always try to keep the cats inside too. Lex doesn't come in much now. Sometimes I end up feeding him outside because he is so reluctant to come in. I can't help wondering if it's because someone took him in to their house & wouldn't let him out again & now he's frightened to come indoors. At least he is hanging around the garden though & I am seeing him quite a lot through the day. Tilly is loving the new log burner, as am I. We got a trailer load of dry logs delivered yesterday so I am in the process of stacking them in the new wood store that Colin built. I did 120 yesterday & 250 today. I can only manage to carry 8-10 at a time. Some are huge & Colin will have to split them himself. We expected them all to be a fine size for the fire but they are very randomly sized, some perfect, some massive. Colin has trailed some limbs home himself when he has been down the islands with the dogs - ones from trees that have fallen in storms & are blocking the path, not big trunks but manageable narrower limbs. Hi Linda, I haven't been here an awful lot. I am in every day but sometimes it's just a quick runaround returning sprinkles. I have finished all the vases. I toyed with the idea of doing more mouse & duck ones as they were pretty easy but decided just to carry on with the easy pottery quest. I do like the icy pots. I love the 2 limited easy ones & I also really like the 3rd limited intermediate & advanced ones that are fluted & patterned. The other limited ones remind me of blue tumblers. I don't care for them at all. I prefer the unlimited ones to them. Lol :-D  I'm like you, I have so many pots I never use, I have my favourites and I have no intention of doing the advanced or extreme quests for a pot. Even the intermediate quest I will only do once. I have to go & collect Colin now but will come back for a chat tomorrow x

BOTTOM DWELLERS
1 - You are going to need USED ROCKS (grey ones) to plant your coral in.
2. Place correct pots (Red for Lobster orange for octopus etc) AND the used grey rocks in your garden
3. Plant mushroom in rainbow rocks pot to attract the pond myths to get the pondweed planted.
4. Once the pondweed is planted, remove the mushroom and plant a SS
5. Plant coral in the used rocks (the coral will be FG and grey at this stage)
6. Change feed plate to wild berries (to attract adult frog) leaving LOW EMPTY plate for frogspawn
7. When frogspawn is laid, dust the pondweed to FG to attract a guppy. The guppy will "colour" the coral. (Red guppy - red coral, Orange guppy - orange coral etc)
8. Remove pondweed AFTER the coral is coloured.
9. Plant a dulcia somniflora and dust to FG to deter the frog cycle critters.
10. Bottom dwellers will only feed off frogspawn from a LOW plate.

One of the things which people seem to have misunderstood about the pots is the term “empty”.   This simply means that the pot is empty of a flower, not that it is empty of honey.  The pot is always full of honey until the bear takes it and replaces it with a new, empty, hive.  You can see which bees made up the hive (and therefore what colour the honey is) by hovering your mouse over the pot – in storage, the colour of the bees shows up automatically but in your garden you will need to hover your mouse over the pot, then click the [Show] link which you can see after the heading Honey Made By.

To attract the bears, your pots need to have been made from hives which were filled by a single colour of bee.  The rarer Brown Bear will only take honey from a pot which was filled by either all-indigo or all-violet bees, whilst the Black Bear will take honey from a pot which was filled by any single colour of bee, INCLUDING THE INDIGO AND VIOLET.
